Find the perfect vacation home at this welcoming country residence in the heart of Central Tuscany for up to 4 guests.

The holiday house is located on the first floor of a newly-restored farmhouse and overlooks the green Tuscan hills covered with olive groves and cypresses. Guests have access to a private outdoor space with a dining facility about 20 meters from the house. The shared pool with sunbeds and salt filter, the lawn and the shared garden together make it a pleasant stay.

The interiors of the house emanate an old-world charm that is romantic. It is divided into a spacious open-plan living room with a kitchen-diner, two bedrooms and a bathroom. The living room welcomes natural light and freshness that creates a lively and uplifting ambiance. A large sofa, a wooden dining table for 4 and a kitchenette with a dishwasher, an oven, a coffee machine, a toaster, a cooker hob, an electric kettle and a fridge with a freezer ensure that guests have a comfortable stay with their loved ones.

The holiday house is located in a peaceful surrounding blessed with bounteous nature. It is a perfect retreat for those looking to unwind and de-stress or a romantic getaway in the typical Tuscan countryside. The nearest shop, restaurant and supermarket are about 5 kilometers’ drive from the house. There is a golf course about 13 kilometers away.

San Gimignano, which is the nearest town to the holiday house is well known for its tall towers that are often dubbed as medieval skyscrapers. The town also serves some of the best traditional Tuscan cuisine, wine and gelato. A lot of architectural and artistic gems, historical monuments and museums abound the place which has caught the attention of travelers.

Guests can conveniently take day trips to all the major tourist destinations of Central Tuscany such as San Gimignano (10 kilometers), Poggibonsi (5 kilometers), Siena (31 kilometers) and Florence (42 kilometers).

Florence International Airport is about 62 kilometers and Pisa International Airport is about 87 kilometers from here.

If necessary, GAS for heating between April 15th to November 1st, have to be paid on the spot basing on consumption. Please note that the pool is open from the 1st of May 2024 to the 30th of September 2024

A grubby, dirty apartment without even the basics provided

This apartment looked lovely on the pictures - and was in a beautiful setting - but the product and service fell way short of what is expected for the price. We had to wash every bit of crockery and cutlery that we used in advance, as everything was dirty. Although there is a dishwasher there were no tablets provided, nor was there any washing up liquid. When we asked for these, plus bin bags and toilet paper, we were told to go and buy it ourselves at the supermarket. All the surfaces were grimy and sticky to touch, plus the sofa covers had 20+ years of stains on them. The owner and property manager weren't interested in our issues, they kept saying that "it's not a hotel, you shouldn't expect this" - but neither was it a campsite, and we had paid a lot more than campsite prices for our stay. They both got extremely defensive, and we felt we had no option but to leave the property earlier than expected. Do not stay here, there are plenty of other much nicer properties.
