We properly is stunning, it was a little hard to find but the search was worth it. Great views nice market and cafe just across the bridge. The area is gorgeous and well worth the trip. I would recommend to anyone looking for a getaway.

Beautiful VRBO

We stayed here the week before my wedding and the house was beautiful! It was spacious, clean and the view was breathtaking. I was WhatsApp’d our info day of with the codes to get in and was able to contact the property manager when we needed assistance with wifi. We truly enjoyed our stay! Our initial drive to the house was a little confusing but we figured it out. We can’t wait to come back again.

Wonderful villa with beautiful views

The house is just as lovely as it looks in the pictures. The pool is a generous size, and there’s a garden kitchen (not pictured) making bbq evenings even better. The bedrooms and beds are very comfortable. There were a couple of small maintenance issues with kitchen fittings which weren’t a big deal but they were already aware of. I am a very keen cook, and would have liked a slightly better equipped kitchen given how otherwise impressive the house is.

Amazing Stay!

We had a wonderful week at this property. It is centrally located for exploring cities and towns within the region, as well as Penada Geres, and an easy drive distance to many quaint and charming shops and restaurants. The property is beautiful and exactly as pictured - very spacious and well-equipped, with our favorite part being the wonderful pool and second kitchen beside it. The views both day and night are spectacular. For us it was a little difficult to find when we first arrived; be sure to use a pin coordinate for directions and not the street address on GPS. But once we got there, it was well worth it! The owner and property manager were great and helpful with all communications. Highly recommend!

A Diamond of Portugal, a beautifull modern arquitectural house with the best view in Gerês

The best place for vacations in Portugal, we stay with our kids and the whole family loved this vacations. A wonderfull heated infinite swiming pool, with views for the mountain and the river is one of the best views in Portugal. The house is brand new built with moderrn arquitetural and very well decorated. All the house is overlooking the river and completly insered in the natural park of Gerês. The house also grants extreme privacy. We will retourn for sure in a couple of months for a 2° stay. The last word for the owners Raphael and Tânia that are realy nice and friendy people and always available for any help need. One of our best vacations ever.

Dissapointed.

My family and I were really looking forward to staying at this house. We did not recieve and informatrion from the owner about our arrival. I had to send her a message, She than directed me to contact her property manager through WhatsApp. The manager said it was no problem for us to come a little early and gave me entry codes. We had a hard time finding the house, the road to the house is a one way, however that was never communicated to us. When we finally found it a van pulled up and 2 women got out, they were the cleaning people. They knew about the property and had to hop the gate to gain entry. The said there had been a power outage. We finally got into the house and there was no heat on, no hot water, refridgerater and freezer were warm, and pool was cold and full of leaves. The women got everything but the pool up and running. It took the whole day for the house to warm up. There was a lack of supplies, only 1 extra garbage bag, no extra blankets or pillows, and many of the hand soap dispensers did not work. The home was clean and had a great view but there lack of communication. I also had to contact the property manager about what to do when leaving. All she told me to do was try to manually shut the gate which would not close. She did not even tell me to lock the place up.

Les clients ont indiqués arrivée a 16:00 (selon check in), mais finalement ils sont arrivés avec 1:30 d’avance. C’est pour cela que les femmes de ménages étaient sur place… La piscine est hors service en hiver c’est noté sur l’annonce. La maison dispose d’un puissant chauffage (air pulsé, dans chaque chambre et salon / séjour + une cheminée je doute qu’il a fallu un jour pour que la maison ce réchauffe…. De plus l’accès n’est pas à sens unique et ce n’est pas une impasse non plus. Je tiens à PRÉCISER que les clients sont parti ils ont laissés le portail ouvert, toutes les lumières allumées, le chauffage partout allumé régler sur 30 degrés, je trouve profondément dommage que ce type de client réserve dans des endroits protégé et naturel et ont cette attitudes….

Très belle maison dans un site exceptionnel

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans cette maison contemporaine au design affirmée La vue sur le Rio Caldo est exceptionnelle de toutes les pièces de la maison et l’espace piscine est tout aussi agréable . Idéale pour 3 couples avec ces 3 chambres en suite
