Beautiful home, well decorated, great location, quiet and convenient to various services. Well provisioned and very comfortable and spacious. Just fabulous!!
Beautiful building needing a number of repairs and TLC
Requires a change in advertising to make clear that it is suitable for 4 couples only unless two single beds are added—there is ample room as the bedrooms are generous size
There were so very many lovely things about this property that our initial somewhat disappointing reaction to its interior became less and less important. It is an old property - with an historic past - that probably no amount of money could ever restore its grandness. And after a day we forgot all that in the luxury of staying here and being together here in this splendid place. Treat yourself! You will not be sorry!

Could be amazing, but not
Oh my. Big Victorian mansion but this place is in rough shape. The kitchen includes a fridge with no shelves, a freezer with gross random frozen food from who knows when and a dishwasher with gross junk on the bottom. We never used it. No coffee maker. Toaster half broken. Carpets are more stained than not. Looks like a party house gone wrong. We were asked to provide a 200 gbp damage deposit at the last minute with no clear way to get it back. Didn’t give it to the owner. When we called to ask for a kitchen clean we were told she would get back to us but got nothing. Not enough towels for everyone and half the lights missing bulbs. You get the idea. So much potential but in dire need of attention.
