Green View Lodges is a charming lodge park offering four self-catering lodges and one cosy cottage in the rural village of Welton. Located just four miles north of the Lake District National Park, our location provides easy access to stunning scenery and outdoor adventures. Welton is also close to the West Cumbrian coast, including the beautiful Solway Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, making it an ideal base for exploring both inland and coastal attractions.
All accommodation is pet friendly, welcoming furry family members to join your stay. The smallest lodge comfortably sleeps four guests, while the larger lodges can accommodate six to seven people, making them perfect for family getaways. The Hayloft, suitable for couples or small groups, sleeps two to four and features a private hot tub, offering a perfect retreat to unwind in style. The site is also perfect for family or group gatherings where multiple units can be booked together.
Outside, each lodge has its own fire pit, ideal for barbecues or relaxing evenings around a warm fire while watching the sunset. Guests can enjoy the leisure suite, which includes a six-person hot tub and a three-person sauna—a wonderful way to relax after a day exploring the surrounding area. Great cabin feel. Clean. Great location. Would book again. Loved the scenery. Accommodating host. Not sure if this is always the case, or if it will always be the case, but host provided warming gifts of fresh milk and cake, which were absolutely amazing.
