Light, bright and uncluttered accomodation. An ideal base for walking the Leeds Liverpool Canal.
It was just lovely from beginning to end. We were blessed with good weather. The accomdation was just what we wanted and very handy for Liverpool to Southport bus route.

Lovely peaceful stay
Stayed here with my other half as he had been working away for nearly 2 weeks, just nice to have some quiet and peaceful time to ourselves. Our cottage was lovely and cleaned and really well equipped with a homily feel to the place. The owners were very nice and came to introduce themselves but left us to it but let us know to ask them if we needed anything. Would highly recommend staying here to anyone!

Lovely welcome, decent accommodation
We needed somewhere near Formby to stay, so this fit the bill nicely. The hosts were really friendly, the accommodation suited us reasonably. We could have done with an extra room for our baby, but we didn't find anywhere elsewhere for that. Facilities were decent, shops not too far away by car, and we were otherwise comfortable. A TV repairman came during our stay, which was intrusive (as the baby was mid-feed), but it was otherwise fine.

Spring bank holiday weekend
We chose Cross Farm Cottages because of its proximity to Liverpool as we wanted to go to the 3 Queens celebrations. The cottage was great in this respect as the bus stop was almost right at the door. We also took the opportunity to have a brief look at Southport. Unfortunately we didn't have time to see the local area which looks good for walking and cycling so hope to make a return visit one day.

Exactly what we needed.
The cottage had almost everything we needed and was in a great location. Close to pubs, towns and the friends we were meeting up with.
Would love a hairdryer so I don't have to bring one next time. ;)
Natterjack 2 cottage may be ageing gracefully but suited are visit perfectly. It was clean and cooking was easy on the stove. There are numerous gastro type pubs in the close vicinity serving good food as well as shops. Only downside for my wife and I was the lack storage for our cloths. Our host Lin and Stan were pleasant and obliging when anything was required and knowledge of the local area. We would defintely stay again.
