Large characterful studio flat with full height sash window. Light and airy with king size bed/sitting room area and modern kitchenette with oven/grill, slow cooker, microwave and fridge with freezer compartment. .Dining table and chairs. Flat screen 40" TV with DVD inbuilt. Modern and spacious bathroom with large shower cubicle and WC. Main Building - First floor.
Appletorre Apartments are situated on a tree lined quiet road, a short walk to the seafront, town centre, entertainments and the now famous Riviera Conference and Leisure Centre. Our Georgian building was converted into a number of en-suite, self-contained holiday flats in 1989. We fully renovated every flat after our purchase in 2015 installing new kitchens, bathrooms, decor, heating, flooring and double glazed windows.

Each flat is fully equipped with large freeview TVs with DVD player, kitchen with oven and hob, microwave, fridge with freezer compartment, toaster, slow cooker, kettle, coffee machine and all pots, pans, crockery and cutlery. Tea, coffee, hot chocolate, fruit juice, milk and bottled water as well as biscuits and mints are provided as part of the welcome pack. Kitchens have kitchen rolls, washing up liquid, tea towel, J cloth and sponge. Bathrooms have tissues, toilet rolls, liquid soap and toiletries. Bedrooms have a hairdrier, clothes airer, electric fan and alarm clock.

DVD, books and games are available in the storage unit in the hall. Free WIFI is available throughout. Bedding and towels are included in the price. Rooms are serviced every four days. Laundry facilities are available with washers, tumble driers and ironing facilities. Wall mounted automatic electric heaters are supplied in the rooms as well as electric blankets . There is free WIFI, free off road parking and the garden has been newly landscaped and offers outdoor seating, barbecue, water features and is illuminated by night. Flats 1,2,3,4,9 are ground floor, 5,6,7 first floor.


Check in time is between 3pm and 8pm. Check out is 11am. Keys are collected from Reception on arrival.

Excellent accommodation in quiet but central location
First time at Appletorre but we were not disappointed. The accommodation was spotlessly clean and well equipped. The owners were lovely and dealt with any problems instantly. We know the area and wanted a central bass to visit friends and the local area and this was ideal and very reasonably priced.

Lovely place to stay.
Arrived at Appletorre House after a horrendous drive from Chichester. Andrea and Peter quickly took us through the paperwork then onto our room. The building had a lovely smell as you walked through the hall and the room was just as shown on the website, warm, comfortable, very homely and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Unfortunately it was not really warm enough to sit out in the garden area but it would be a lovely area to relax in during warm weather.

I, Andrea, purchased the property in September 2015 and undertook a full renovation programme gradually installing new bathrooms and kitchens, renewing all heating, lighting and furnishings, replacing all windows and floor coverings and carrying out a full redecoration. The garden was landscaped and external evening illuminations and water features were installed. This programme was finally completed in 2019 but remains an ongoing process to ensure standards are maintained.

My background is in hotel keeping and international commerce. I hail from Leeds most recently where I established a high quality commercial and domestic cleaning service and holiday home business. I am assisted at Appletorre Flats by Tony, my Maintenance Manager, who keeps the place running efficiently and Terri my loyal and hardworking Housekeeper who ensures the rooms are well equipped and spotlessly clean. I am indebted to them both!!!
