About this property
Mount Rose Cottage, 73 Hartop Road, Torquay, Babbacombe/St Marychurch
Mount Rose is a lovely three hundred year old fully refurnished cottage with a walled garden (nice and safe for the kids) close to the sea, beaches, South West Coastal path, shops, pubs and restaurants of St Marychurch and Babbacombe. It's only a ten minute walk away from magnificent Babbacombe Downs and the train/ lift down to Oddicombe Beach.
The quaint cottage is surprisingly spacious with a large fully equipped family kitchen , a cosy lounge, two bathrooms; one downstairs with a bath – ideal for children – and one upstairs with a shower. The two bedrooms are spacious and have new beds; one with a double bed, and the other with two single beds. All beds have good mattresses that are intended to ensure that you enjoy your stay. Downstairs in the lounge there is a sofa bed, with a good pull out double bed.
The house is furnished to a high standard giving the comforts of new with the charm of old.
Parking is free on the road on which the house is situated. The bus stop to take you downtown to Torquay harbour is 30 metres from the house, and it takes 12 minutes to get to the harbour.
Hanbury’s award winning (best 5 in country) fish & chip shop within walking distance.
Please note that WiFi is not provided. A deliberate choice to ensure a peaceful break. There’s always 4G if you really need it.
