We are delighted to present The Moorings. A beautiful modern and fully refurbished holiday home sleeping 12 guests.

The Moorings is an excellent option for family or friend groups looking for accommodation in the heart of Rhosneigr and just a five-minute walk to beaches.

The spacious holiday home is tucked away in a private and quiet residential cul-de-sac just a short stroll from Y Morfa gastro pub and the village shop. It's the perfect base to relax and explore all that Anglesey has to offer.

What you should know: The Moorings is pet-friendly and has two bedrooms downstairs for younger guests or those who have difficulty with stairs. There is off-road parking for 3-4 cars.



Ground-floor living

A light and open-plan hallway greets you as you enter the accommodation and the wooden floors lend a pleasant contemporary feel to the interior of The Moorings.

There are two sitting rooms downstairs.

The spacious main living and dining room is furnished with two comfy leather sofas, a TV, a lovely log burner for cosy autumn/winter stays, and a dining table to seat eight guests.

There are large bay windows to the front and patio doors lead out from the dining area to one of the enclosed terrace areas, perfect if you want to combine indoor and outdoor dining. The terrace doors also let in the beautiful sea breeze, refreshing the interior on warm summer evenings.

The second snug living area is a splendid space for a children's den. Also furnished with comfy leather sofas and a log burner, they can snuggle up and watch TV together while you enjoy an after-dinner conversation around the dining table.

The Moorings is close to great restaurants in the centre of Rhosneigr village but there is no need to dine out every evening. The super spacious kitchen is equipped with everything you need to prepare family-size meals during your holiday.

There is a corner breakfast table with chairs and cushioned bench, perfect for chatting whilst preparing meals or for your little ones to get involved with meal preparation.



Sleeping arrangements

On the ground floor, there are two double bedrooms, one also has a bunk bed - perfect for mum, dad and younger guests. There is also a family bathroom complete with a shower over a large bath, toilet and sink.

This is the ideal scenario for guests who have difficulty with stairs, or for families with younger children who want to stay together on the ground floor to avoid stairs.

Upstairs there are three further en suite bedrooms; a master super-king bedroom with a walk-in wardrobe and two twin bedrooms.



Outdoor space

There are various enclosed patio and terrace areas around The Moorings. Patio areas can be accessed from the dining room and kitchen and a grassed area connects the two. There is also a patio to the front of the house.

The Moorings is set in a quiet residential cul-de-sac with off-street parking for 3-4 cars. The property is an easy stroll from Y Morfa gastropub and the village shop and a five-minute walk to both beaches in Rhosneigr. It's the perfect base to relax and explore all that Anglesey has to offer. This property provides one travel cot and one high-chair - We don't provide a travel cot mattress and cot linen. On arrival you will receive a complimentary welcome pack with a few essentials to get your holiday started the right way.

All about Rhosneigr

Winner of the Green Coast seaside award, Rhosneigr is a lovely village situated on the beautiful west coast of Anglesey. It's a fantastic location no matter the weather or season.

The village has two brilliant golden sand beaches, which are great for water sports, particularly wind and kite surfing. In fact, Rhosneigr has become a windsurfing and kite surfing mecca attracting enthusiasts from all over Britain.

Around the island, there are lots of other pretty coves and bays where you can enjoy open swimming and safe child-friendly bathing, beach strolls, rock pool exploring and sandcastle competitions!

Cycling is another great way to explore the island with a 120-mile perimeter to explore and plenty of rural trails so that you can explore the scenic countryside. The countryside stretches for miles inland with magnificent views of the Snowdonia Mountains and Llyn Peninsula.

Rhosneigr village itself has a great selection of restaurants and friendly bars, it even has a chip shop if you fancy fish and chips on a Friday.

And so that you don't have to eat out every day during your holiday, the local general stores provide everything you need to cook and dine at home.

Rhosneigr also has a surf shop (also offering lessons) and other shops that you would expect to find on the coast.

Fancy a round of golf? Anglesey Golf Club is just five minutes drive from Rhosneigr village!

Located 15 minutes from the A55, Holyhead 10 miles, Bangor 22 miles and the base of Snowdon is only 40 minutes away (with the wind behind you!).

Anglesey is a great destination for any holiday with so much to offer: beautiful landscapes, gorgeous coastal walks, water sports and family activities galore, as well as cultural and monumental attractions for those looking to learn more about the history of the region.
