Minstrel Lodge is a spacious 'upside down' house set over three floors with the top floor dedicated to a beautiful open-plan living, dining and kitchen space with far-reaching views to the sea and mountains.

'Minstrel' refers to the medieval singers that sang for nobility. And this house has a musical twist, with a surround sound system installed throughout so that you can listen to music almost everywhere in the house. And if listening is not enough, there is a selection of musical instruments provided, so you and the children can have some fun!

The location of Minstrel Lodge is unmatched. Here you can enjoy the best of both worlds. Just two minutes walk into Rhosneigr village with its restaurants, pubs and local shops, and 150 metres away from kilometres of beautiful golden sand beaches, and yet the villa enjoys a gorgeous rural setting!

It's the ideal holiday villa for families and friends who want to be within easy walking distance of Rhosneigr's best attractions and also walk out to the countryside.


From the bottom up...

Minstrel Lodge has been designed to make the most of the incredible surrounding landscape and views by dedicating the top floor to the living space.

However, let's start from the bottom and work our way up to the icing on this property's cake.

Most of the ground floor is taken up by the double garage but on entering the main entrance you find a shower and laundry room. This is the perfect set-up, so when you get back from a day at the beach or on the water, you can hose down your kit, drop your clothes and swimming costumes in the laundry room and dive into a hot shower.

Sleeping arrangements

Head up to the first floor where you find the four spacious bedrooms. There are three double bedrooms (including a master luxury en-suite) and one single bedroom with bunk beds.

On the first floor, there is a further shared family bathroom with a bathtub, washbasin and toilet.

A living room with a view!

And finally, to the second floor and the piece de resistance of Minstrel Lodge.

The top floor is home to an incredible living, entertaining and dining space, beautifully furnished with wood flooring throughout, modern comfortable sofas and armchairs and a dining table to seat eight guests.

Fast and reliable internet, Sky TV and a few DVDs and games are provided, ideal for wetter days or when you're exhausted from long days on the beach!

There is a well equipped bespoke kitchen with everything you need to cook up a storm during your stay.

There is a walk-out balcony leading off from the dining area, where you can take your drink and soak up the stunning views to the sea, and across to the mainland and Snowdonia.

Enclosed garden

To the rear of the property is an enclosed decked garden space, ideal for letting four-legged and younger guests run about or enjoying a family BBQ.

The Nitty Gritty
There is ample parking space for two to three cars. You can even park your boat! Three well-behaved pets are welcome at Minstrel Lodge. This property provides one travel cot and one high-chair only - We don't provide a travel cot mattress and cot linen. On arrival you will receive a complimentary welcome pack with a few essentials to get your holiday started the right way.

All about Rhosneigr

Winner of the Green Coast seaside award, Rhosneigr is a lovely village situated on the beautiful west coast of Anglesey. It's a fantastic location no matter the weather or season.

The village has two brilliant golden sand beaches, which are great for water sports, particularly wind and kite surfing. In fact, Rhosneigr has become a windsurfing and kite surfing mecca attracting enthusiasts from all over Britain.

Around the island, there are lots of other pretty coves and bays where you can enjoy open swimming and safe child-friendly bathing, beach strolls, rock pool exploring and sandcastle competitions!

Cycling is another great way to explore the island with a 120-mile perimeter to explore and plenty of rural trails so that you can explore the scenic countryside. The countryside stretches for miles inland with magnificent views of the Snowdonia Mountains and Llyn Peninsula.

Rhosneigr village itself has a great selection of restaurants and friendly bars, it even has a chip shop if you fancy fish and chips on a Friday.

And so that you don't have to eat out every day during your holiday, the local general stores provide everything you need to cook and dine at home.

Rhosneigr also has a surf shop (also offering lessons) and other shops that you would expect to find on the coast.

Located 15 minutes from the A55, Holyhead 10 miles, Bangor 22 miles and the base of Snowdon is only 40 minutes away (with the wind behind you!).
