Location was good. There was construction next door, while not the owner's fault a heads up would have been appreciated. There were maintenance and cleanliness issues, though the owner responded the next day to the minor maintenace issues.

If you don't mind construction at 6:30 am and workers smoking outside the window this is your place. There is alot of construction on building next door so workers get there early and start working...it was warm in London that week so we kept the windows open (no a/c) so we would have to close them. In addition, the construction workers, hotel workers from the Hilton across the street, and taxi drivers would smoke just outside the flat.The location is great in Mayfair, I would just recommend waiting 6 months until the construction is over.

The hotel next door is being refurbished and the local council has given them permission to only start work at 8am in the mornings.
There are fans in every room to provide cold air if required.
Loved the location of the property! Short walk to restaurants and pubs! A little confused about the den. It does not have that sofa set up shown it the pics! Also we couldn’t figure out the tv! Good thing we weren’t there to watch tv but got to visit with friends! Great place to stay for a family or group of couples. Would definitely stay here again. Side note, for the dryer you have to empty the water! Lol took a minute for us to figure that out!

The living room has been upgraded and now has wrap around seating with three tables. We look forward to welcoming you again.
The apartment was in a great area of London, near so many great sites and public transportation. It was arranged in such a way that provided privacy for each of us and the ability to be together in shared spaces. There was a little bit of street noise late at night from the nearby pubs, hotel and businesses but it was also great to have so many options within walking distance. Suggest there be some instructions left for how to work the stove (could not get it to go on), the washer & dryer (great to have but no one had cleaned out the lint for a while and we discovered the water collection unit that needs to be emptied by accident) and the heat/ air. Would definitely recommend this apartment to others!

Missed Opportunity
The location of this property was outstanding and made the last part of our trip however the quality of the beds, the bedding and the usability of the closets were really lacking. The pictures posted didn’t match the reality and the property would benefit from a table and chair to eat at. The lack of attention to detail was unfortunate.

We have upgraded the seating for the better in the lounge which is the only picture that did not match.
The closets are permanently fixed into the bedroom walls and matched in the same colour as the walls of the bedroom.

I don’t know why this apartment doesn’t have a higher rating. It’s very comfortable and spacious. The location is PERFECT. Very walkable to pubs and landmarks. It is very close to an underground stop that gets you to any location in the city. We were in London visiting for four nights. Our interests were most definitely outside of our accommodations so the lack of dining set did not bother us one bit. We had no interest in watching television while visiting so that was not a priority, but they are available. Plenty of glassware was provided, the beds and pillows were comfortable. Our host was prompt in meeting us and explained everything we needed for our stay. We would book this location again and we would recommend it to anyone visiting London for a sightseeing tour.

Photograph inaccurate. House lacking mirrors in bedrooms or nightstands or side lighting. No dining table, yet 7 couches. Little soap or Kleenex or paper towels. 27 steps to upstairs bedrooms. Upstairs shower didn’t drain. No outlets in bathrooms.tvs didn’t always work. BUT location amazing and DEV property manager totally responsive and as helpful as best he could be.

The lounge room has been upgraded and this is the only photograph that needs to be inserted. The rest of the photographs are all accurate which we are sure you will agree. All bathrooms are replaced with new liquid soap prior to a guest arriving including new toilet paper in each bathroom.
As you are aware the property is a town house, thus there are 10 steps from the ground floor kitchen, bathroom and bedroom to the second floor lounge room. and then from the first floor to the second floor there are 13 steps where there is 2 bedrooms and a further bathroom.
The upstairs shower drains when you turn the chrome round handle embedded in the bath. There is a electric outlet under the bathroom mirror.
All TV's are working as shown working at the time of check in by our property manager. Our property manager also has his number in the information frame situated on the small coffee table should there be any queries.

Furniture Was Different
We were really excited to get to this rental, but when we got in we realized that the living room furniture was completely different from what is on the listing and was not conducive to how a family lives. The new furniture was 6-8 love seats that were uncomfortable and on the perimeter of the room...it was not inviting or able to really be changed. There was also a slight smell in the house and the rugs felt as if they were pretty dirty. We had to leave after one night (even though we paid for 4) so that we could find a place which would work for our family.

Yes the living room furniture has been newly upgraded to many of our guests positive feed back. Such furniture was upgraded with the feed back from our guests and in accordance to the prime location in one of London's most exclusive district.

Unfortunately we were not aware you had left the property as we did not hear from you until after the check out date. We try not to disturb our guests during their stay, however there is a contact number for guests during their stay should they wish to contact us and again as we did not hear from you, we assumed you were at the property.

The property looks so much better online. It was very dirty. We sent pictures to Peter of crumbs underneath the beds and couches. There was also caps of cheap tequila under the couches. He told me he was going to show to the cleaning company. As the owner he could have made it right. The smell is awful! It smells like sewer. He told me he couldn’t fix it because of the holiday. If you look at old posts the smell has been there. He told us once we got there we could not use the dryer. We packed assuming we would be able to wash and dry our clothes. The Wifi went out a lot. We ran out of hot water after one shower. I was so not impressed with the place and him. He just makes excuses.

The property was and is always professionally cleaned.
Our check-in time is 3pm as stated on the booking platform. The guest requested a very early morning check-which meant our cleaning contractors had to clean the property 5am in the early hours of the morning for which we paid extra costs in order to assist the guest request. Our Check-In representative was also requested to attend early morning to welcome and introduce the guests to the property, however the guests failed to turn up or notify us. The guest finally turned up in the late afternoon for which we had to pay extra costs for the check-In representative to attend again for the second time without causing any stress to our guest.
The picture received showed very few crumbs and a single tequila lid which we apologised for, however bearing in mind it was Christmas Eve we could not take it up with the cleaning contractors until they reopened. The guest requested a discount for this.
During the early morning cleaning preparation we received communication from the cleaning contractor that there was a malfunction with the cloth dryer, and again bearing in mind it was Christmas Eve we could not get an engineer to rectify this, so we immediately installed a manual cloth dryer in the property, which assisted in a perfectly normal manner with drying cloths after wash in the washing machine provided in the property if required which we advised the guest at the time of check-in.
The property does not have an internal smell however due to refurbishment in the neighbouring hotel property, several months ago there WAS a outside external slight smell which the neighbours had fixed months ago and can only assume the guest has picked this from a past post.
The hot water is working perfectly, however during the guest stay after a few days, someone had pressed the buttons on the system which turned off the hot water, therefore a video call was made to the guest in a few minutes after they notified us, and the system was rebooted within 30 seconds back to normal hot water. The Wifi is on permanently without any problems reported.
Overall the property is four star rated in a prime lactation being minutes walk from Buckingham Palace and other international land marks such as Hyde Park etc and does not reflect the exaggerated comments made. We treat our guests with the highest respect and provide a good professional service they deserve and continue to do so to international guests from all over the world.

Great location but lots of issues
Upon arrival, we noticed a foul stench in the downstairs bathroom, which the “greeter” said they knew about and were going to fix that day. The smell was there the entire week and when we went to take a shower we learned there was no hot water. While someone came out that night to fix it, he quickly gave up and said he would have someone come out the next day. We figured out the problem and told him how to reset the water heater, which worked. We discovered there were only towels that passed for rags, no soap, no toilet paper except fir the rolls already in Use in the bathroom. We had to go out and buy these items just to get through the week. While the location was great, no one mentioned that it is currently next to a hotel construction site. There is no place to eat or dine in this apartment. And the picture depicted above is not accurate. The common room now has seven loveseats but no table or chairs. Anyone staying there should know that there are two steep flights of stairs to get to the two bedrooms. We were only given one door key which made it difficult for 4 adults to make arrangements to always connect when s9 done needed to enter..

The hotel next door started a renovation programme a few days prior to your arrival (not construction). The smell which was coming from a third party public pipe outside our property. travelled though one of the pipes connected to the sink of the small bathroom downstairs and was isolated within the small bathroom only. Technically as it was noting to do with our pipework we could not do anything, however we called the local government authorities who have resolved the issue. We therefore apologise for the inconvenience caused by a third party incident.
We were unaware the previous tenant had changed the hot water settings due to the recent heat wave at the time encountered in UK. However when we received a call in the evening, we tried to reset the hot water settings in the same evening with your colleague by way of a video call unsuccessfully due to bad communications as the guest did not know how to do a video call. We therefore sent a representative to the property within an hour of the same evening who was able to reset the settings and the problem was satisfactory resolved during our representatives attendance.
All towels are professionally cleaned before check -in and adequate soap and new toilet paper is always left in each of the bathrooms for new guests with additional toilet paper left in the bathroom cabinets. Depending on the length of stay, the guests normally purchase any additional only if required. (as some guests stay a few weeks)
The advert does mention the property is a house with 3 bedrooms, two bathrooms, full kitchen, and a living room and therefore stairs are automatically in any house. On the ground floor there is the kitchen, small bathroom and bedroom. On the first floor there is the large living room. On the second floor there is two bedrooms and full bathroom. All depicted in the pictures. This is not an apartment.
The living room has been upgraded with new seating and three coffee tables for eating etc. Any of the coffee tables can also be joined together to form a large table if required.
Great location… couch and living area has been updated since photos. Looks nice but no longer a big couch to spread out on. Beds were ok/ not the most comfortable
Tom and his family were excellent guests and we were glad to host them.
This house which is walking distance to Buckingham Palace and other world renowned landmarks and restaurants is awaiting your stay with complete privacy.
