Come and enjoy the delights of Stambar, one of two traditional Welsh stone holiday barns nestled in the heart of the tranquil and beautiful Preseli Hills, It enjoys far-reaching, uninterrupted, ‘picture postcard’ views down along the valley, and views of the Preseli Hills to the rear, which can be enjoyed from a warm and bubbly hot tub with a glass of fizz. This beautiful detached barn was once a cow shed and more recently a ruin, but now has been meticulously restored to a high standard within the owners’ grounds and located near the quaint hamlet of Hebron.
Only a 5-minute drive from the agricultural village of Crymych, with its traditional Welsh pubs, craft shops and a butchers, here you can enjoy a plethora of fantastic walks including the Golden Road, an ancient route said to date back to the Neolithic period 5000 years ago.
This spacious barn has retained lots of its original character in keeping with local tradition with exposed stone walls, zinc roof and red doors which really does look perfect, the spacious open plan kitchen, dining and living room leads through French doors and onto your private patio and hot tub area with far reaching views of the rolling Pembrokeshire countryside, this modern well equipped kitchen is perfect for cooking up a storm for that special occasion and offers a great social space with lots of light. Both bedrooms have been lovingly furnished to a high standard throughout with colour coordinated décor and presented very well to provide the perfect night’s sleep. The French doors run from the living room onto your patio area with your own hot tub.
Travelling a short drive south, you will discover the charming market town of Narberth with its many antique shops, gourmet dining and delicatessens just waiting to be discovered. Families can head to Hanger 5 Trampoline Park or visit the indoor water park, Blue Lagoon, both within a 40-minute drive. Oakwood, Wales’ largest theme park, boasts Wales’ largest wooden rollercoaster and is sure to keep families entertained whatever the weather. The famous walled town of Tenby makes the perfect day out with its cobbled streets, sandy beaches and stunning harbour, and should not be missed. Beach 13 miles. Shop, pub and restaurant 3 miles.
