About this property

Beautiful Cottage between Lake Moultrie and Lake Marion

Spacious two bedroom cottage between Lake Marion and Lake Moultrie. Great fishing and quiet nights enjoying a private cove filled with wilderness. A short walk to Mac Daddy's for a bite to eat. There is plenty of room to dock your boat in the backyard. The water depth in the back yard is 5-6 feet and after launching your boat in at the ramp 100 yards away, you can tie it up to the dock in the backyard.

Great fishing year-round, either by boat or from the docks located a short walk away at Canal Lakes fish camp.

There are two beds upstairs, two pullout sofas downstairs. We also have an additional cot and pack-n-play for kids. We offer a fully equipped kitchen, dining room, and 1.5 bathrooms. Just bring your fishing poles!

There is a fish cleaning station located in the rear of the property, although you can get them cleaned quick and cheap over at Canal Lakes Fish Camp if you don't want to clean them yourself.

There is a washer and dryer on premises and clean linens/towels are provided. WiFi internet, Roku, DVD player, and Nintendo are also provided.

We have just added a brand new HVAC system with heating and cooling.

About an hour from the Charleston area and about 1.5 hours from Columbia.

Fishing Trip to Santee Cooper

Great little cottage right next to the channel that feeds Lake Moultrie and Marion. Mac Daddy's restaurant within walking distance.

Nice little fishing trip!

My husband and I stayed at the A Frame for 4 nights. This is our 3rd stay here. It's so convenient to dock our boat on the property. The fish cleaning station is nice to have as well. The house is always clean and comfortable, and has everything we need. We met some of the neighbors this year and they were so nice! Just made the stay even better.

Santee Cooper lake house

We truly enjoyed our stay in Santee this year! Very quiet neighborhood and the property owners were very to to respond to any questions I had. We will definitely try to book this house again in the future!

Perfect location

This place was a perfect location to bring your boat and fish. House was clean and roomy with a great yard and view. We will absolutely be back. The cleaning station was clutch.

Fishing trip

This property is old and not well maintained. We were asked to not wear shoes in the house but we’re not warned about stepping on tack strips on the stair steps and edge of the carpets The kitchen was stocked but pots and pans had long outlived usefulness. I enjoy the beauty of this area and I was happy to spen 5 days here but the property itself definitely needs upkeep

A Frame Getaway

We enjoyed our stay in the A-frame. It was a beautiful house with very charming features. The beds were very comfortable. The stairs going to the bedrooms were steep, so just make sure you are being careful going up and down. If we are in the area again, we would definitely stay here again and recommend to others!

Santee trip

We had a wonderful time. Our trip consisted of two guided trips on the water so we chose to rent the A- frame rather than stay at one of the camps. The house is very cozy and provided all that was needed. It was nice to just relax on the back porch or on the dock. I didnt bring my boat this time but look forward to doing so in the future. The fish cleaning station was an awesome feature too. I would definately recommend this location.

Perfect for family or friends getaway

Beautiful scenery, loved being able to go outback and see wildlife. I was able to see a blue heron and lots of ducks and other birds. Loved it. Even a rabbit. I absolutely recommend choosing this property. Very relaxing and the house is bigger than you'd think from the pictures. Having laundry room and fully stocked kitchen was awesome. There was flour, spices and more that I did not expect. Very homelike.

This place was absolutely perfect for our fishing escape. Saturday was washed out with the rain and wind but we had a blast and made some great memories playing the retro games and board games. The home may seem small but there was plenty of room for our large family. The only request I could make is to add a light and power at the cleaning station. Thank you so much for allowing our family the opportunity to create lasting memories at your home.

Peaceful Location with great decks and Yard

This place was just perfect for us. Located in a quiet, private lagoon, this place is ideal for boating, fishing and relaxing on the large deck in the shaded back yard. Both bedrooms are upstairs and the staircase is fairly steep but this place definitely still gets 5 stars.

Exploring the low Country

We spent a perfect couple of weeks resting lakeside and exploring the coast. Our host were attentive and gracious. We enjoyed kayaking the lakes and dinning on all the tasty local seafood. Home is Centrally located with Charleston and Savannah available for day trips. A great winter getaway
