Enjoy all that Lake Marion has to offer during your stay at this Delightful Lakefront Home in desirable White Oak II off of Wyboo Creek. House is located in front of the famous sandbar!!!

Cozy, Custom Designed and Custom Built. This Lake Marion home with Private Dock was completed April 2010 and has just added 2bedrooms and the 3rd full bath in 2023. Built with modern conveniences but having the old-world charm of cypress paneling and a whimsical, retro decor. Huge screen porch overlooks sunsets on the cove.

An excellent spot for Family Vacations, bring the kids and the grandparents. Relax on the screened porch and take in the View. Grill out in the underneath parking area complete with outside shower and fish cleaning sink. Put your boat in at the public landing around the corner and keep your boat tied up at the private dock for the duration of your visit. Swim, fish and kayak off the dock. Golf Courses nearby and Historic Charleston is just a little over an hour away. Lake Living at its Best - Ya'll will have a Relaxing and Enjoyable visit.

Note: This Home is Nestled Amongst Permanent Residents. Guests Are to Be Respectful and Courteous.

Awesome property! Kids loved all the water toys and jumping off the dock. We spent mornings and evenings on the screen in porch! Miss Frankie next door was a sweet lady! I enjoyed talking with her! Loved the location everything easily accessible.

Wonderful House

We really enjoyed our stay at the, Big Red House. The layout was great for families. We especially appreciated the kayaks and other water toys. Would totally stay again.

Best Lake Stay Ever

We had such a wonderful time at the Big Red House. Everything about the house and area are perfect. We took our 3 grandchildren and needless to say they had a blast! The neighbors are sweet and we really enjoyed them. If you are looking for the perfect family vacation house this is the one!

Good for a relaxing get away.

This is a cute, nicely updated cabin. It is out in the middle of nowhere which was hard for us. 20 plus minutes to get groceries or find a restaurant. (Georgio’s in Manning was amazing) The lake and dock were great and it was nice they had water toys available.

Sitting on the dock of the bay

This is our second year coming to Lake Marion for Spring Break. We loved this house. The screen porch is amazing, the dock was perfect for passing the day away. It is still a little cool this time of year, and the fish weren’t yet biting as much as we wished, but we had a wonderful time.

Clean…. Well maintained…. Fully equipped…had both sons, their wives, all 3 grandkids under the same roof for whole week for first time ever and resulted in a great experience… not only great house but perfect location on the lake….

Perfect location

With a few minor set backs, the owners were ontop of anything before we had a chance to complain. Great communication and accommodating to our needs. We did enjoy a hot week long stay with some cooling off in the lake. Along with plenty of toys to enjoy and very close sand bar(busy on weekends, but empty during the week), but by the dock was plenty of fun. Went to 3 stumps for a quieter sandbar. Caught lots of fish, plenty of laughs, and memories made!

Family time away from everything!

Everything was great from check-in to check-out. I am battling breast cancer so we wanted a place that was on the water to get away and spend quality family time together! We did just that. We fished every day; however, we didn't catch but a few tiny one's. It was cold a few days so not sure if that's why we didn't catch many but overall, we had a great time! The communication with owner was fast and pleasant! We definitely recommend this rental.

Amazing Lake View

Our stay was very relaxing, my sis and i enjoyed drinking coffee every morning on the porch and all of us just being on the porch most of the time. A lot of steps but totally worth it. Kids enjoyed the private dock. Was a big crowd on the sandbar on the weekends but didn't bother us. We also enjoyed watching Netflix, Amazon, etc. We were glad we could bring our dog, he had a great time! Both of the neighbors on both sides were so friendly, we enjoyed talking with them. I was concerned with 3 bathrooms if we would have enough hot water for showers but we did! We definitely hope to rent this house again!

The Neighbors From Hell

We liked the house(beautiful) but didn't like the neighborhood, and certainly didn't care for the neighbors on either side. House was to close to each other felt very clustered. Didn't really have any privacy. Sat on the back porch, neighbors sat on their porch, can hear everything your talking about. We just couldn't enjoy ourselves there. Didn't care for the outside camera on the back banister, felt like we was always being watched. Thanks for the experience, but will never rent this house again.

The home is well-maintained with a well-stocked kitchen and a variety of family games. The host, Sheila, is absolutely remarkable. Sheila communicated with us as though she were a member of the family. You can feel her smile and warmth in her communications. It was nice to be treated like a person, rather than just a box to be checked off.

Hot Summer at Big Red House

The house was great for us and our family.Boat dock was a lot of fun,Weather was biggest issue, it was so hot we didnt get to enjoy the back porch as much as we would have liked.There was boat ramp nearby so it was easy to load and unload the pontoon and keep it a the dock.
