Relax and enjoy the comfortable atmosphere of this lake front home with your friends or family. Featuring an open floor plan: a large kitchen, family room with a fireplace, a 400 SF sunroom -- all with fantastic views of Lake Marion, stunning sunsets and sunrises. This property is perfect for relaxation and fun.

The large fenced one acre lot is set up for play: fishing from the dock, croquet, cornhole, horseshoes, swimming from the dock (this area has a sandy bottom) -- or relax enjoy the lake breezes from the spacious deck as you prepare a meal on the Weber grill. Inside the fun continues with a ping pong table in the sunroom, and several large screen TVs, an ample DVD collection, board games and books. The property can accommodate trucks, a boat and trailer or bring your kayaks for more water play. The boat landing, Polly's landing is a short drive (4.5 miles) from the property.

Enjoy your barbeque at the large dining table in the sunroom, the expansive bar that seats eight in the kitchen, or sit outside on the deck or dock. Amenities inside the home include: linens provided, washer & dryer, microwave, all major appliances and a fully stocked kitchen (including a Keurig coffee maker).

Home was beautiful and clean. It rained some during our stay and were entertained. There were games to play and a ping-pong table!! I loved sitting in the sunroom watching the squirrels and ducks. We caught a lot of fish off the dock. 30 pounds. This was our second but not last stay.

Santee vacation

House was very clean and comfortable. Large well furnished kitchen. Really enjoyed the large relaxing sunroom that gave a great view of the lake. Nice Dock on deep water.

Outstanding in every way

There is not a single thing I would change about our stay at this beautiful property. The owners were gracious and kind enough to check on us to make sure all was well. The property is absolutely amazing with wonderful views of Lake Marion sunsets. The house is well stocked and was very comfortable. Charleston and Columbia are an easy drive. If you are a fisherman beware, large catfish roam just a short cast off the dock. Don’t hesitate to book this paradise! Thank you Mr. and Mrs. Gill for your hospitality! Looking forward to coming back in the future.

The house and property are wonderful . The owners are nice and check in from time to time to make sure everything is going well .Beautiful lake views from the back porch and the view watching the sun set over the lake are gorgeous love staying here .

Fabulous Lakehouse!

This Lakehouse is a great quiet get away. Jim and Pam are wonderful homeowners, and their hospitality was incredibly kind. Nice neighborhood, spacious living room, kitchen and sunroom, lots of bedrooms to comfortably accommodate several family members. This will be our go-to for anytime we visit Santee Cooper!

Awesome Lake house with a beautiful view.

We had an amazing week with the kids and Grandkids. Perfect for swimming, boating and fishing. House had all the things we need for a comfortable and relaxing stay. Kitchen was stocked with everything for making all the kids favorite foods. Very laid back and relaxing. Will definitely visit again.

Nice property and very nice owners.

The home was very clean, and there was enough room for all 7 of us. More kitchen appliances than most rentals have; including a crock pot which came in handy. The owners are very nice and helpful. If we return to Santee in the future, this home will be the first we check for availability.

Nice and quiet getaway

This home on the lake is very clean and roomy! The furniture is comfortable and clean. The kitchen has everything you would need or want. Lots of privacy. Also has a great dock for fishing. Loved sitting in the sunroom overlooking the lake. You won't be disappointed with this home.

Beautiful home and views

Flat lot with 180 degree big water views, gorgeous sunrises in the east and sunsets to the west. Home has lots of books, games, ping pong, tv channels, more kitchen supplies and condiments than we've ever seen in a VRBO. Owners in easy communication. 15 minutes to town; we recommend The Lake House restaurant.

Absolutely WONDERFUL Lake House

Extremely clean and well maintained home w fabulous views across the water! We loved the sun room, and the home had plenty of room for dining and sitting! The furniture and beds were very comfortable, and the kitchen was one of the best stocked that we have stayed at in a while. The neighborhood was quiet, and we were able to put the boat in at Polly’s Landing, which is a very short drive from the house. We were checked on frequently by the hosts, and they were very kind allowing us an early check in. Would love to stay at this property again. Stay was April 15-22, 2023

Everything You Need

On arrival we were amazed by the beautiful view overlooking the lake. This house has everything you need for a comfortable, relaxing stay. Kitchen is fully equipped. Big screen TV in the living room and TV’s in each bedroom. Towels and linens are clean and plentiful. A beautiful fishing dock and a large lot with plenty of parking space. The owners are very hospitable and communicative. A real winner. Hopefully they’ll have us back for a future stay.

Love, love, love this home!!!

This is our second year in this home. Our hosts make sure we have all the comforts of home in an amazing location. The dock has plenty of fish holders. The kitchen is equiped with everything we could possibly need. The sun room offers a breathtaking view of the lake and we can see the fishing poles on the dock. Plenty of room and cornhole, ping pong, and a whole cabinet of games and puzzles for entertainment. This was our 2d year and we plan on making it a third year in 2025.

Great lake home

We had a wonderful week away at Deep water Lake Marion house. Communication with the homeowner was excellent, he even tried to help us out with some car trouble we experienced on the way down. The week started rainy, but there was so much to do inside, puzzles, games, ping pong. The house was so well stocked. Unfortunately, it was Mayfly season, and a few days they were bad, but that was, obviously, no fault of the homeowner. The view from the sunroom is amazing. One night we sat out there playing cards and watching a storm come in. We were able to do some fishing, kayaking, swimming, and even got in some cornhole. Overall, it was a great week to relax and celebrate my sons high school graduation. We would definitely stay here again.

We are a recently retired mid-late 60's couple. We always loved the lake, and rented Lake Marion houses with 2 other families 30+ years ago when our children were small. We're not out to make money on the house. We want others to enjoy it as we do, and help us cover the many expenses.

Why they chose this property

Large lot. Panoramic views of the lake. Sandy bottom swim area, with steps access at the seawall and stairs halfway down the 140' dock where the jetski lift is. Dock to tie your boat up to. One Xmas trees was sunk about 10' off the dock for fish reef.
