Just perfect as a place to relax in and as a base point to explore the area.
We were so lucky with the weather and really enjoyed wandering by the river in Ironbridge and exploring further afield. The cottage has everything for a comfortable stay and is extremely clean and well maintained. It also has a view of the river!

A lovely house and central for everything
Riverbank Cottage is very well equipped and has everything you could need. The welcome hamper was quite simply above and beyond! The cottage is central to many attractions as well as being very close to the High Street and bridge itself. The riverside path is very near too and a lovely walk under the bridge to the shops. An added bonus is the secure parking directly opposite the cottage. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend and would love to visit again.

Truly wonderful
The cottage looks small from the outside but, once inside, WOW it keeps in giving! The position so close to the town and with great views from every level, is in an enviable position. It was spotlessly clean, spacious and equipped with everything you could want for a perfect stay. We were so impressed that we immediately booked another return visit when we got home. The high quality welcome pack is a very thoughtful touch. Well done Ironbridge Holidays - your offering is faultless.
We enjoyed our stay. The proximity to Ironbridge was excellent. The property is well equipped. And was spotless. Minor problems were rectified the same day ie, bed sheet missing from master bedroom. As a poor sleeper l found the noise from the road difficult to deal with, speeding cars, bikes in a controlled zone. This might have been remedied with secondary glazing to the bedroom window. Apart from those minor niggles we would visit again without hesitation. Next time for longer as there is so much to see in the locality.
This very nicely decorated house has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The four floors are really unusual and we enjoyed breakfast on the balcony and dinner on the terrace, all with a lovely view down to the river and the sound of the birds all around. Having two bathrooms was great for a family of four.
Being right in the middle of Ironbridge meant it was great for exploring the town and all the museums and sights close by. Once you’ve done that there is so much to see a little bit further afield.
One thing to mention is that the double bedroom looks out on a small but busy road and it means that, if you are not used to it, sleeping after 7am becomes a bit difficult. It means you will make the most of your day.
