The Old Post Office is a small well appointed apartment in Lowtown Bridgnorth. It has 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom with shower, A dining kitchen and separate living room. There is a small secluded garden and BBQ for exclusive use of the guests. Like a lot of old properties, it has low ceilings and narrow winding staircases. There are exposed beams in most rooms. We have tried to create a peaceful home from home feeling. Bridgnorth is a bustling small market town in Shropshire, it has many interesting pubs and restaurants, the Severn Valley Railway and the small funicular railway, which connects Lowtown with Hightown Bridgnorth. There is a wide variety of shops and antique shops to peruse, and of course the star attraction the River Severn. Bridgnorth is an excellent base for discovering Shropshire and the surrounding areas. The Old Post Office appartment is located above a small shop, the entrance is through a communal gate and a shared passageway. There is no parking at the property but Lowtown is well served by public car parks. For ease of checking in, there is a 40 minute waiting car space to the front of the property. We look forward to welcoming you.

Very nice property inside, a bit awkward for access
A very well appointed terraced cottage, great kitchen and lovely bedrooms, big bathroom and comfortable lounge.
No parking outside which made life awkward and gaining access is a little difficult the first time; however the directions are clear so wasn't really a problem.

About the host
Hosted by Judith
I work as a Sales Manager for an equestrian company based in the West Midlands. I travel throughout the UK with my job, and I'm always keen when I stay away, to use home away where possible. And I have a good friend who has her property listed here, and she is always busy with visitors.
Why they chose this property
I knew once I saw the Old Post Office, that it would be a excellent base to use to explore Bridgnorth and the surrounding areas. It is very quaint and is unexpectedly quiet, considering its position in Lowtown, it also has the added benefit of a small back garden for relaxing in with a tipple of your choice! Also a BBQ for the use of our guests. The location makes you feel at home in the community of Lowtown Bridgnorth.
What makes this property unique
The proximity to shops, restaurants and the River Severn and the Cliff Railway makes for an ideal location.
