About this property

Right in the heart of old town Newberg Oregon and the beautiful wine country.

The Cottage Attic is a charming little attic in an historic cottage built in 1949. In 2017, owners Matthew and Renee, completely remodeled The Cottage Attic down to the studs, giving you modern luxuries while keeping to the era of the house, with vintage style tiles, decor, light fixtures and a restored 1950’s vintage refrigerator. Matthew, a sixth generation contractor and craftsman, and Renee, a well loved local artist, have produced a unique, creative space that is beautifully furnished and skillfully crafted. From the fully functional kitchen, stocked with ample amenities and complimentary coffee from a local roaster, to the large, custom walk in shower, to the natural light that floods into the rooms. The Cottage Attic surrounds you with a quaint luxury that is impossible to ignore and easy to enjoy.
Located in the heart of Oregon Wine Country, not only is The Cottage Attic a short drive away from hundreds of wineries, it is within walking distance of George Fox University and Downtown Newberg where you will find unique local shops, galleries, antiques, artisan coffee shops, seasonal farmers market, nationally acclaimed restaurants and much more. Within driving distance, the opportunities for Oregon wine, food and adventures are to numerous to even begin to list - but trust us - they are there and attainable during your stay!

Great little place
This was a perfect location for a grandmother to visit children who attend Edwards Elementary. I would walk the kids to "Grammy's house" for after school snacks. Then we would walk to Memorial Park to play on the playground. Their parents would pick them up from here instead of after school care. Clean, comfortable apartment. Charming and old-fashioned. Great walk-in shower. Not handicapped accessible, as it is upstairs. The kids liked the arbor at the entrance and sitting in the window seats watching their friends walk home from school. We also played Monopoly and checkers.

Perfect
Beautifully decorated and renovated space, thank you for having coffee, spotlessly clean. Way above average and much better than expected compared to other VBRO, which have been a mixed-bag.
