Private tiny forest cabin near Portland and local wineries.
My Tiny Cabin is located on 2.3 forested acres in a rural setting close to Portland and wine country. My home is located on the same property but trees and space in between the two provide privacy. A ladder takes you to the upstairs loft with a queen bed and a skylight for a view of the treetops. A futon that folds into a comfortable full sized bed is located downstairs. The kitchenette provides a microwave, small refrigerator and coffee. Step out to the deck to enjoy your coffee, a glass of wine or cook on the propane grill.

This tiny house was perfect for me, my wife, and our two dogs during our visit to the Portland area. We drove our camper van down from Alaska to have several modifications done at a Portland shop. The tiny house was a nice upgrade in spaciousness! The house was as advertised, and we found it to be very clean and well stocked upon our arrival. The host was extremely responsive with any questions we had, and we were also easily able to extend our stay a couple of nights once we found out the work on our van was going to require more time. One of our dogs is very shy around people and scared of areas with a lot of car traffic. She very much enjoyed her walks on a leash around this property and up and down the road that accesses the property. In the end, we got exactly what we were looking for at a very fair price.
My wife and I had our wedding anniversary here and had a really great time. You're just close enough to a lot of the city amenities without dealing with any of the city disturbances. This little spot had everything we needed and everything was super comfortable. We're already looking forward to coming back again.
It was sweet tiny cabin that hugged three people and three dogs amongst the trees! Quiet and accessible to all of our activities. And close to a nice dog park.
Thank you Nancy!
We wanted to stay somewhere different other than a hotel or motel and this was perfect. Small cabin but we managed. We're an "older" couple but had no trouble going up/down the steep stairs. We also enjoyed the quiet area.
This charming tiny home in the woods was a perfect setting for my daughters (age 19 and 17) to enjoy time away. We relaxed with our dogs and took in the stillness of the setting. Within an hour of landing there, my daughters were in the loft taking nap.
If you need a unique space to reconnect with family members or spend time alone, I highly recommend this place for a short getaway.
This cabin is the cutest! Its incredible to be so close to town and be in a quiet little place surrounded by trees. The bed upstairs is super comfortable. Feedback, it would be nice to have a railing on the stairs, it was a bit precarious. Thank you very much for having us, love the house.
The tiny cabin is truly a retreat in the trees. The lift feels like you are in a tree house, and my 13 year old loved the quiet solitude. I loved the peaceful mornings with coffee and reading time while watching the squirrels get their morning workout in. The cabin is in the woods, and there are spiders, which I don’t mind, but some might. The stay was very comfortable with quick hot water and any amenities we needed. We would love to stay again while we visit family that live nearby.
We had such a great time at this tiny cabin! It’s exactly as described in the listing. We didn’t have any troubles with the property while we were there, and it’s super easy to get to and check in/out.
This tiny cabin was our favorite place that we stayed while visiting the Portland area. It is tucked away into a forested area, perfect for privacy, and getting away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The property has all kinds of great features - a table that looked like it used propane to have a fire (we did not use this, but it is available), a grill, picnic table, plus amenities inside like a mini fridge, induction burner, and Roku TV to just take a day and relax without having to do much of anything. It's also close enough to easily get onto many different highways, and access restaurants, grocery stores, and attractions. It was perfect for us. I cannot say enough good things about this property - it's an absolute gem!
We had loads of fun, especially the children, and it was a great location to explore Oregon, with Biscuits Cafe so close for brunch! Pet friendly, although my dog did find a few crumbs to eat off the floor, and a couple blankets had a pup-odour, some junk in the driveway on way in which could be removed or put away. Steep ladder-steps to loft were hard to climb, more hand railings would be nice. But the kids had a blast, as it was like a treehouse for them! Wi-fi was strong, yet the TV internet disconnected a few times, not an issue with games & other things to do. We all slept very well surrounded by relaxing nature. Overall pretty clean & organized with all the essentials provided
This little cabin was a godsend on my trip. It was so nice to be on the outskirts of Portland, close enough to see the fun attractions without the craziness of the city! With the hectic days of the trip, the cozy cabin soothed the soul in the evenings.
The cabin was very clean and overall everything we needed. There was a coffee machine which was great for sitting on the balcony in the morning. Cabin is in the woods and has a fire pit. Host was very responsive and helpful.
Our stay here was so relaxing! We loved the place and how close it was to everything while also feeling like we were in the middle of nowhere. Check-in and check out were so easy!
Nancy was so helpful when needed, which wasn’t much because of how amazing it’s set up! Definitely a place we’ll never forget and would love to go again.
We enjoyed our stay. Listing was accurate and house was clean and comfortable. Loved the quiet setting. We would stay again.
