Cozy Lakefront cottage with breathtaking views of lake and mountains

Stunning views from this cozy, fully equipped 4 bedroom 2 bathroom cottage. Rated 4 stars by the CITQ tourist board of Quebec, reference #222496. Only 75 minutes from Montreal and 2 hours from Ottawa. Cottage is in the heart of the beautiful Laurentians on Lac de la Montagne Noire. A beautiful, large, clean, quiet, private lake with a sand bottom. Renters have 6 boats to chose from!
There is a double sit inside kayak & 2 single sit on top kayaks, row boat, 3 person canoe and pedalo. Life vests supplied.
There is a large patio deck and lake dock, BBQ, fire pit and outdoor summer kitchen with refrigerator. There are 5 ceiling fans, down duvets in every bedroom or summer quilts. Fully equipped kitchen for cooking and entertaining. The cottage also has a water dispenser, dishwasher, washer and dryer. There is wireless wifi, 2 flat screen TV's, stereo, DVD players, Nintendo, Play Station 2, books, board games and a huge DVD collection. Linens and bath towels are included in rental. Check out the exceptional views and location of this cottage from inside and out. The cottage is close to quaint towns for shopping, dining, sight seeing, sports/spas and entertainment. Within a driving distance ranging from 15 - 40 minutes you have the towns of Mont Tremblant, St.Donat, St.Jovite, Ste.Agathe, Val David & St.Sauveur.


There are weekly and 3 night minimum rentals during specific months and Holidays. Summer months: June, 5 night minimum & in July and August, rentals are weekly and usually start on Sunday.

Christmas, New Years & Spring break are also weekly rentals starting on Friday however we can be flexible if possible. Monthly and Seasonal rentals are available and the prices will be discounted by us directly, please inquire and check the calendar please. We are offering a seasonal rental for the winter, November 2025-March 2026, 5 months at $2000. a month + heating bill or Jan.7 -April 7, 2026, 3 months @ $2200. a month + heating bill. Please inquire on what dates work for you.

Please contact us ASAP and we will give you flexible date options and pricing. For correct pricing, check the website in English and US dollar or whatever currency you want the rate converted. Note that unless a different currency is selected at the top of the website, it will automatically be in US dollar. On holidays, renting for less than a week is only an option if available. If at any time, the Laurentians have travel restrictions imposed due to Covid, we will modify the cancellation policy.
The cottage will be cleaned and disinfected after every rental.

Please check different rates and availability on the calendar. Responsible renters only, 25 years and older.
There is a maximum of 6 adult guests overnight or a total of 7 people with adults and children. Small dogs will be considered. Pet cleaning fee is an additional $50.

The view was wonderful. The cottage was comfortable and had all the equipment needed for us.The only inconveniences were the dishwasher that was broken and the fact that the hot water tank capacity was relatively small. It was hard to be able to wash the dishes and take our showers.

A corner of Paradise

Great time at Cottage mon Reve

We went for a week a Chalet Mon Reve and had a great time. The chalet is equipped with everything you need, the yard allows for nice fires and has ample place to play games with teenagers and grand-parents! Best features is the huge solid dock where you can splash in the water all day! The hosts provides high quality water embarkations (kayak, pedalo, etc). We even caught a few fishes straight from the dock. Highly recommended place!

Perfect base camp

We were trying to find a place that would make everybody happy for our trip and we did. It was a great base camp for rockclimbing in Val-David while the non- climbers enjoyed the lake fishing and paddle boarding. The mosquitoes and no see ums were thick but that's to be expected this time of the year. The host was great and everything went smoothly.

Amazing place for a family vacation

We spent 3 nights at the cottage. This was a short family vacation. The place is amazing; great landscape, quite, easy to reach to, recommended for a family vacation. Wonderful cottage

The cottage was perfect for our family of 6, including grandparents. We were looking for a place close to ski resorts and couldn’t have been happier with it. The cottage is very nice, comfortable, and it has everything that you need. It’s right on the lake, with breathtaking views of the lake and mountains.Only a 15-20-min drive from two small Ski resorts, and an easy drive to Mont Tremblant. Susan, the owner, was also super nice and helpful. We would definitely come back!

Mon Reve is more than just a "cozy cottage". It is like a home away from home! The inside is well decorated and furnished, every room is perfectly well-equipped, and more than the basics are provided - 18 L water cooler, basic laundry and cleaning products, even laundry baskets were included in every bedroom! The lake was spectacular, and we loved using the kayaks and pedal boat; the paddles, oars, and life vests were in perfect condition. And of course, the scenery is breathtaking, and the birds and other wild life very entertaining.

Perfect cottage experience!

We loved everything about this cottage! Let me highlight the parts you will love too: - fully stocked kitchen. This has everything you could possibly want or need to cook for your family. - lots of boats. We used the paddle boat. But there were also kayaks and canoes. - 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Having 2 rooms with large tables was great. Lots of space for all of us - fab dvd collection. We watched 4 movies as a family - great outdoor space - deck and dock and backyard and bar area. Lots of chairs and lounge space - privacy - we could neither see nor hear our neighbors. - lake is large. And clean. Perfect for swimming. The place is great. You will enjoy too.

Great stay with a great view.

We had a wonderful time staying at the cottage. Just about everything we could have wanted was provided for us. From boats and recreational equipment to kitchen, bedroom and bathroom supplies. The care and love the owners put into this place is evident. We spent several days on the water enjoying the various watercraft. Evenings were spent in front of the wood-burning fireplace watching movies from their vast DVD collection. All-in-all, this was the perfect getaway cottage.

Heavenly views

Fabulous stay in a comfortable home and what views! If you love nature, you may see a hummingbird, fox, hare, ducks and, to my delight, the American red squirrel! Great family get away but don't forget insect repellent as the mosquitoes had a feast. The dock with all the "water toys". was the highlight each day. Definitely bring you fishing equipment for the lake. Very detailed instructions from the hosts and immediate response to a water issue in the kitchen. The upstairs is perfect for young people who need a space away from parents. Just be careful because the steps are very steep. We plan to return in the future.

Quiet Summer Get-a-Way.

Great spot to unwind and escape the city noise and traffic. If you'd rather wake to the haunting sound of a loon on the mirror-like lake then this is the place. Amazing sun-down views of the lake and plenty of water toys to get out onto the water. The cottage has all the amenities needed for a memorable stay.

Great Cottage Getaway

This cottage was the perfect vacation spot! It offers everything you could need from a great outdoor cooking area for barbecuing every meal of the day to a variety of boats that you can use to explore the lake. The lake near the cottage is so clean that you can see the bottom from just about anywhere in the lake! And let's not forget about the view from the deck! Perfect for every sunrise and sunset.

Location, location, location. We fell in love with the views from this property the day we saw it. Bought it immediately and totally renovated the house, added a deck, dock and everything else imaginable.

What makes this property unique

There are very few rental properties with full lake and mountain views. The lake is larger than most and we have 6 boats included in the rental. You can kayak together on the tandem kayak or single kayaks. Your entire family can be out on the lake at the same time. The sunsets and sunrises are breathtaking and we think you will love the cottage as much as we do!
