Quiet Lakefront property with Private Bathroom - Hotel type room - no Kitchen

CTIQ ID 304977 ******Kitchen is not included******** the entire cottage in not for rent ** A perfect spot to spend the night, a weekend or a week, you have your own entrance to the room, with a beautiful view of the lake and Laurentians Mountains. All you have to do is step out on the deck to see it.
The house is situated right on Lac Creux, in the municipality of Lantier which is a 20 minute drive to Sainte-Agathe or a 15 minute drive to St-Donat. Both are pleasant places to visit with a large lake connected to the towns. This is cottage country only an hour and half away from the city of Montreal so a day trip to the city is a possibility. There a many activities right here on the property:
In summertime: Kayaking and a boat with an electric motor. The lake is clean; no gas motorboats allowed so it is safe to swim in, there is small beach area on the property. If you are into hiking there are plenty of trails close by.
During the winter months: Family ski hills, Mont Garceau and Mont La Reserve in St-Donat are only 20 minutes’ drive, Mont-Tremblant is a 40 minutes’ drive from the cottage. Cross Country skiing and snowshoeing is very popular here with plenty of trails and also can be done right from the house.
This is a pet friendly environment, and owner has two very friendly dogs.


You’re in a very comfortable room located on the bottom floor of a two story new cottage, with a great view of the lake. The owner is living on the floor above and is available to answer any of your questions or needs during your stay, on the second sofa bed there is a 4 inch (new 05//16/22) mattress . The room is equipped with:

Wonderful lakeside stay over spring weekend

We had a super peaceful weekend away at Chris' lovely lakeside place. Everything was as advertised. We enjoyed long walks in the vicinity with our 6 month old pup Leo. Chris and his two dogs Sammy and Roxy were wonderful hosts. We will be back!

We just returned from a wonderful weekday at ‘Chris paradise cottage’ it’s the perfect escape from the city. Owner Chris was communicative and provided all the information we needed during our stay. The cottage is absolutely stunning. The private waterfront was the highlight - we spent hours on the beautiful and quiet lake with eco-friendly electric motor boat which provided by the hosts. Beautiful area

My son and I planned a couple of days' stay along our way to take him back to university for the fall. It was a detour from our usual route but well worth it. The scenery is beautiful. The room is fairly basic but had everything we needed. The host, Chris, was very kind and made sure we had everything we were looked after. Definitely recommend.

Quiet and peaceful on the lake. Kayaks available along with life vests. Beautiful view of the lake and accomodations were very clean and as viewed on site. Chris was very welcoming and always available if we had questions. Lake is small but quiet seeing as there are no motor boats. You can hear the loons!

Lakeside cottage at very nice price for small family

We enjoyed our stay at Chris’s place very much. Just like the description, the cottage is right in front of the lake and has everything we needed. It doesn’t have a kitchen though, but the bbq on the patio serves as an equivalence. We enjoyed boating on the lake or sitting on the patio to enjoy the view. Chris is a wonderful host . He tried to take care of our needs and kept distance to give us privacy at the same time. It’s highly recommended for small family.

Wonderful retreat for 2 busy moms

My friend and I just loved our little weekend away from our busy homes. We weren’t sure about renting a room for 2 but it was very well equipped. If we needed anything our host who lives upstairs would just give it to us. The best part, we never had to do dishes! Our host asked us to put our dirty dishes outside our connecting door, and he would leave clean ones for us. The view from the room and deck was phenomenal. We stayed most of the time on the dock reading all day, the lake is very calm and clean (no smell) because motorized boats are not allowed. Our host landed us his battery operated canoe, charged it for us whenever we felt like taking it for ride. We will surely come back. Thanks again!

We had such a wonderful stay at Chris’s Paradise! It was the perfect restful weekend — exactly what we needed. The space is very comfortable, with a spectacular view of the mountains and fall colors.
