Vals-des-lacs Chalet

We had a wonderful time despite the lack of snow. The area has great hiking trails nearby, a hike around the lake, a dog sled breeding place and is close to Mont-Tremblant

Perfect stay for our group of 20. The house and cottage were wonderful. Everything we needed was available. Hot tub was most welcomed after a long day skiing. Only wish there would have been an extra bathroom in the main house (only 2 1/2 bathrooms available in the main, and 1 bathroom in the cottage). Regardless, definitely highly recommended for a large group.

Had a wonderful time

The property is beautiful, even in winter. Big windows that look out across the lake. Functional kitchen and hot tub. Comfortable temperature control. Bring your toboggans if you're brave, there's a great hill in the woods across the pond. In particular, I want to thank the host who answered a whole bunch of our pre-arrival questions with great patience. Thank you!

Great Place - Beautiful Surroundings

We rented the place for our annual Family Christmas-Palooza and it was just perfect. We had 23 people around the tree on Christmas morning, and the space was ideal for it. Large dining area, great open main room, lots of seating. The beds were comfortable, the space was warm, and the kitchen well stocked with all the things needed to serve a large group. The house is older and so some things might feel a little dated (historic I think), but that is all part of the charm of it. The owners set up a Christmas tree for us and were very responsive when we were a little confused about the checkin process for the guest house. The lake views out of the living room windows were pristine and I would bet this place is fantastic during the summer. Thanks for a great stay!

Snow White Book Charming the children said! WE all enjoyed the outdoors by the lake fishing, had our own paddle Boards to add to provided canoes kayaks.WE enjoyed nearby activities of Mont Tremblant. The hot tub, campfire, quiet view and capacity for all to join together for dinner was the charm of the property. WE found the puzzles and 1000 Canada was put together. WE are slept well minus pull outs in cottage. THanks for immediate response to our few questions

Amazing! Quoting one of the teenagers, "A dream come true""

The property is obviously a little dated, but that's the unique rustic character and homey feel we wanted. Such a beautiful location in a quiet peaceful area. We were able to access 4 different ski hills within 30 minutes drive. We had a large group with 5 partial families. The layout worked well and the kitchen was well stocked with utensils. The guest house does look like much from the outside, but it was surprisingly nice inside. Fully appointed and more of that great rustic character. The property was clean with snow cleared. The property manager was nice and quick to respond. We ordered wood and it was ready when we got there. Thank you for the memorable trip, all families had a great time.

Super Nice Place

Huge, could easily sleep 20+, very clean, we were loud the whole time and nobody complained once. Lots of nice amenities, big kitchen. Guest house was really helpful. Id book this place again for a weekend party

Amazing place to stay for an extended family gathering

The property was clean. Check-in/out process was extremely simple. We arrived at the property and we have enjoyed every single moment of our 5 days in there. The pool table and the trampoline were absolute hits. The dock was great for fishing. not so much for swimming. We got a big kiddie pool that we used for our kids to enjoy some water time. there is enough space to run your games. We set up our volleyball net from day one and still had so much room for other outdoor activities.

Le chalet était magnifique, bien situé, beaucoup d’espace tout le week-end c’est très bien passé. Le host était bien réceptif à nos demandes. Il n’y a rien de négatif a dire sur ce chalet ou la communication avec notre host. C’est sure qu’on y reviendra.

Good place for our dads and kids trip

We really enjoyed the place, the common spaces and well equipped kitchen. We would definitely stay again. The only comment was it could have used another bathroom with shower.
