Beautiful Stay

It was a great last minute location that accomodated my whole group of 15! The space was beautiful and right by the lake which added to some of my friend's experiences who have never been to a chalet before. We were really happy with the cleanliness and the price. Thank you Damien for all the help!

We stayed at Le Grand Miramont for a few nights during the holidays. The upstairs rooms were nice, the area is quiet, and the property is pet-friendly.Unfortunately, several issues impacted our stay. Despite advising the host we would be at full capacity, bedding for the sofa bed was not prepared and had to be located by us in a blocked closet. The sofa bed and couch were in very poor condition, with ripped cushions and damaged foam.The basement bathroom is essentially a public bathroom with missing wall tiles and toilet stalls. Two of the five bathrooms did not have functional locks, and one exhaust fan was not working.The floor plan provided indicated three kitchens, but there was only one. Although three washing machines were available, no laundry detergent was provided. We were told to use dishwasher liquid instead, which raised concerns about cleanliness and how guest linens are washed. The host was also unresponsive when we requested additional toilet paper.There were multiple undisclosed extra fees. Firewood was not included despite a winter stay and was offered only at an additional cost. This was a first for us, as firewood is typically provided in similar rentals. We also asked, as a courtesy, whether early check-in might be possible if the unit was already cleaned and ready. The host refused and insisted on a fee of 150/ hour.Given the very high price, we expected much better condition, transparency, and service

À l’attention des futurs invités que cet avis pourrait décourager : Nous comprenons qu’un avis négatif puisse semer le doute lorsqu’on cherche un endroit où séjourner. C’est pourquoi nous souhaitons apporter des précisions importantes. Durant ce séjour, nous avons régulièrement pris contact pour vérifier si tout se passait bien. La seule remarque reçue fut une vague déception exprimée, sans détails concrets malgré nos demandes répétées pour comprendre et agir. À la place, une demande de remboursement a été faite, suivie d’une menace d’avis négatif. Après le départ, nous avons inspecté minutieusement la propriété sans constater de problème. De plus, les groupes ayant séjourné juste avant et après ont tous deux laissé des avis 5 étoiles, soulignant la propreté et la qualité des lieux. Nous mettons tout en œuvre pour offrir un hébergement propre, confortable et bien entretenu pour les grands groupes. Nos nombreux avis positifs en témoignent. Il est regrettable que, malgré nos efforts sincères, l’objectif semblait être d’obtenir un rabais plutôt que de résoudre une situation réelle. Nous restons pleinement engagés à offrir une expérience de qualité, et nous invitons les futurs voyageurs à lire les nombreux autres avis qui témoignent de notre sérieux et de la qualité de notre hébergement. -Damian

C’est un très grand chalet pour les grands groupes. Nous étions plusieurs familles avec enfants et c’était parfait car il y avait plusieurs options pour les lits. De plus, l’espace est bien départagé. Le lac à proximité très bien. Beaucoup de toilettes et surtout la place est très éclairée! Il y a un sauna que nous n’avons pas utilisé mais je crois qu’un spa aurait été mieux. La salle à manger est immense donc nous avons pu tous manger sur la table Ensemble. somme toute nous avons passé un agréable week-end!

Tournoi de hockey

Nous avons loué ce chalet pour séjourner avec nos jeunes lors d'un tournoi de hockey. Les ères communes sont agréables pour le grand groupe que nous étions. L'endroit est très propre et le paysage extérieur magnifique.
