It was our first time visiting Charleston - and it was wonderful. Steven's home is in the perfect spot - super close to upper king street, which has wonderful shops, restaurants, and overall fun things to do. Even though the home is just 2 minute walk from vibrant King St - the property is very quiet, which was really nice! It is also 1 mile away from Historic part of Charleston - which is an easy walk right down King Street - or a quick uber ride. The condo was clean, cute, had everything we needed - and we loved the porch! Steven owns Stella's restaurant right next door - it is a must. It was delicious and the staff was so friendly and accomodating. And on a final note - Steven is the best - so available and made our beach adventure possible!! Thanks again - you can't miss at this "perfect spot." Enjoy!
Charleston was terrific and our apartment was in an ideal location. The apartment was clean, well-appointed and met all of our needs. Owner could not have been more helpful. Highly recommend.
We really enjoyed our stay! The location is great and walkable to everything! The home was well stocked, very clean, nicely decorated and super cozy. Thank you for a wonderful experience!
Steven’s place is in a great location off King Street. We spent a week with two couples and it was a great space. The apartment is impeccably clean, with everything you need for cooking, laundry, and the bathroom. The decor is beautiful and the side porch is perfect for a morning cup of coffee or an evening glass of wine. The location is ideal for walking to all of the King Street attractions without staying more downtown, where it is more congested. Absolutely MUST go to Stella’s next door. Great food and great service! Would definitely stay again!
I can’t get over how perfectly located this property is. Such a quiet street, but only a half a block from the hustle and bustle of this of the gorgeous downtown area. To the right, heaps of shopping and food; to the left, some really fun cocktail lounges and bars. As for the space? It’s clean, charming, well laid out — literally everything we needed. I felt like a local. 10/10, would stay here again.
This location is amazing and so is the stay. Walkable to so many places and easy to get an Uber to any further locations if you don’t have a vehicle.
We loved Charleston and can’t wait to return!
This is a great property for exploring Charleston. We’ll appointed and a fantastic location within walking distance to a number of attractions. The hosts were helpful and responsive. Highly recommended.
Wonderful stay in an extremely convenient location. Well appointed kitchen with excellent glassware and utensils, a rarity in some rentals. Comfortable beds in a quiet yet convenient part of downtown.
Perfectly located... Could walk anywhere. Was no more than a little over a mile to anything... Aquarium, Ft Sumter/Liberty Square/downtown historic houses/walking tours
It was wonderful...Steve is an A+ host
Nicely decorated, comfortable upper flat, near good food and a reasonable walk to visitor’s center/tours and marketplace. It was a great spot for a sisters reunion!
Perfect accommodation for a long weekend stay in Charleston. Having the restaurant next door was also great. Cozy beds, nice kitchen, loving room set up and enjoyed the balcony for coffee in the mornings. Will stay again if the place is available on my next stay.
We had a wonderful time staying at Steven’s property. The listing is accurately described and was a perfect location for everything we wanted to see in Charleston. Steven was an incredible host and made sure to help us get a table at his restaurant Stella’s (highly recommend, incredible food and drinks). I would advise bringing a sound machine if you’re a light sleeper, the noise described in the listing was accurate but would not deter us from staying here again! LOVE this apartment and restaurant!
Booked this as a girlfriends getaway, the apartment was very lovely, fully stocked with dishes, cookware and linens. Great location walkable to everything Charleston has to offer. Steven was a pleasure to communicate with and our visit was wonderful. Highly recommend this place.
This was our first trip to Charleston so I had done my research for where to stay and this place was the exact area we wanted to be at. Booked this place based on the reviews - great location, great property, clean, and responsive host. All these things were true and this property is truly wonderful. We literally parked our car and walked to everything during our stay. The owner does mention the noise being it’s right in the city and next to a restaurant so I knew that going into it. Noise was not bad except Friday and Saturday night. Both nights were beautiful weather nights so I’m sure the patio next the the restaurant was busy and the noise kept my husband up both nights. Again I knew this could be the case so I’m not complaining…just something to keep in mind for the lighter sleeper. Other than that it was a great property!
We highly recommend the host, the property, and the location. We had no difficulty with our reservation and we’re happy to meet Steven at his restaurant , Stella’s, where we enjoyed a delicious meal. The property was just as it was pictured and was extremely comfortable. Because we were provided with a parking space, we walked to all our activities. We would stay there again!

About the host
Hosted by Steven Niketas
Born and raised in Charleston, I am excited to offer this downtown apartment to travelers. We own and operate Stella's restaurant next door as well as Mosaic Catering + Events in both Charleston and Richmond. If we can help you with anything related to your visit, please do not hesitate to contact me.
Why they chose this property
I renovated this apartment at the same time I renovated the historic Westendorff building next door... Both were a labor of love and offer completely updated systems, furnishings, etc. This apartment is a second floor unit but please keep in mind this is a busy college town and street noise is constant in our area!
What makes this property unique
Centrally located, with off street parking and modern comforts of a new home, in a classic Charleston single home package.
