Smugglers Cottage is a wonderful base for a seaside getaway in Dorset. Please note: This property does not accept children under the age of 6.

Note: Fayre In The Square (usually late May Bank Holiday weekend each year) and Wessex Folk Festival (usually first weekend of Jun each year. These fantastic free festivals see the harbour and Hope Square closed to traffic. With live music, entertainment and stalls throughout the weekend. Town: The coastal resort of Weymouth is a popular family holiday destination at any time of year, with a variety of attractions on offer, including glorious golden sandy beaches, boasting excellent watersports facilities and a picturesque and bustling harbour, where you can take regular fishing trips. Portland Harbour is a short drive away, along with the rugged “Isle” of Portland, linked to Weymouth by Chesil Beach. Nearby Dorchester is worth a day trip, while a scenic journey along the coastal road towards Abbotsbury Swannery and Subtropical Gardens is also a must.
