Pechanette, lovely large private swimming pool and completely fenced garden

We are happy with this new house "Pechanette". This completely renovated typical French (en pierre) holiday home has a lovely large private swimming pool, a completely fenced garden and is only 1 km from the village of Aubas (with a good restaurant) and the Vézère river.

Inside
The large, nicely decorated hall immediately suggests that something special can be found here ... You have access to the living room and kitchen from here. The living / dining room has doors to the large terrace with all beautiful plants (palm trees, olive trees, roses, etc.). The well-equipped kitchen also gives direct access to the pleasant terrace. On the ground floor is a large bedroom with its own very nicely decorated bathroom (Italian shower and bath).

On the first floor are the remaining 3 bedrooms, one of which has a beautiful covered terrace overlooking the pool and the woods and another bedroom has an en-suite bathroom. Finally, there is a separate bathroom and toilet on this floor. Everything exudes atmosphere and passion for the region.

Outside
Pechanette is situated on a dead end road which guarantees your rest. At the front there is plenty of room for your car (s) while at the rear you have a lovely garden with a large private swimming pool at your disposal. There is a table tennis for the children. From Pechanette you can walk (1 km) to the village of Aubas whith a restaurant where you can also order your bread. Various hiking routes start from Pechanette, one of which is marked.

Surroundings
From the house it is only a five minute drive to the center of Montignac, where you can find many good and cozy restaurants, of course you can also go fishing and canoeing on the Vézère river. Le Lardin is about 4 km away and here too there are some shops, cafés, restaurants and you can play tennis. A little further, at Fossemagne, there is a lake with a sandy beach and you can take golf lessons in Brive (26 km). Of course you can also enjoy a fascinating visit to the Prehistoric caves of Lascaux (near Montignac) and the atmospheric Medieval city of Sarlat (20 km) with charming markets and fun summer festivals.
