This special property sits on a beautiful secluded bay, overlooking Governor's Island on Lake Winnipesaukee in the town of Gilford, NH. Small association offers an uncrowded 300+ feet of sandy beachfront, breezy private and waterside decks, a dedicated and spacious 24' boat slip and amazing views of the lake.

Relax while overlooking the lake from the kitchen, dining and living room through a wall of windows in this clean and homey vacation home. Master bedroom has queen bed and full bath. Second bedroom has bunk beds and double futon.

Beautiful Location

The accommodations were great, everything we need was there and access to the site manager was also simple. The best part was the location. The beautiful views plus the quiet atmosphere of the cove made for a relaxing vacation. People were friendly in the area and the only confusing issue came in the use of the Sun Deck. We were told that the table and chair sets are owned by two residents but after being told this we were given permission to use them when we had day guests. The location was also great to enjoy the many tourist attractions the area has to offer. We found ourselves out on adventures when we were not enjoying the lake and it made our two rain days more enjoyable.

Wonderful host & great location

We had a great time at the lake with 3 kids under 5. Condo has the essentials and location can’t be beat; lakefront with a huge sprawling yard with swing set and seesaw. Perfect for a family get-away. James was a pleasure to work with, very accessible and helpful in preparation for our stay and while we were there. Hope to be back!

Great time

We stayed for one week and have to say that we had a great time. The location is excellent. It was a cozy condo type property with a nice deck outside to eat on as well as a deck with tables near the water for your morning coffee. It was a quiet area with friendly neighbors and close to Weirs Beach. We really loved that we could dock our both there. It’s A great place to do as little or as much as you want. The kids said the bunkbeds were really comfortable, we thought the queen mattress was uncomfortable. Also King bed would be preferred. It’s close to the road so you can hear cars and motorcycles driving by early in the morning. Overall we loved the property we had a great time and we highly recommend it.

We checked out several different locations and this one was bar far the best - waterfront with sandy beach, great docks, nice lawn to play games and a nice community of people. The owners were nice and responded to questions in a timely manner.

Beautiful view of the lake. On quiet bay inside Gov's Island. Very clean and well stocked condo. Nicely maintained. Nice to have a dock in which to tie up a boat. (We rented for one day.) Plenty of room for the 4 of us. Responsive owners. Overall very happy!

The location was amazing- lakefront and very close to Weirs Beach. The owner was very accommodating and responsive to all my questions that I had prior to my arrival. They even had Dunkin Donut coffee and creamer for us to use. Would recommend this rental and plan to return next year

Great location for fishing!

4 of us stayed for a long weekend for some Salmon fishing and it was the perfect spot! Little tight for 4 men to share but overall it was fine. Be warned the boat launch on location is very shallow but sandy so you can make it work. Dock was huge and had plenty of room for our two boats for early May, only one boat is usually allowed for the rental in the summer. Would love to stay again!

Great spot on the lake

My friends, family and I had a great stay in this condo. It is the perfect home base for a week on the water. You cannot beat the view of the lake or the convenience of being able to wake up and walk down to the beach or the dock. We enjoyed swimming and floating in the sandy beach area, kayaking around the cove, and were able to keep our sea doo/ boat at the dock as well. The neighbors were all super friendly and we had a great time getting to know the other people in the condos around us. There is a nice big lawn for frisbee and lawn games, and a deck to lounge and grill on. My group and I highly recommend staying here!
