Attic apartment of 60 square meters, in addition to the terrace of 35 sqm with table for outdoor dining.
Just renovated, has a large living room with exposed beams and oak floor, overlooking the terrace, a master bedroom with stunning views of the mountains and lake, a bedroom, a bathroom with shower and a kitchen equipped and functional.
The house, surrounded by greenery, is 1. 2 km from the center of the village is within walking distance in 15 minutes using a stone staircase very particular or by car in 5 minutes.
The grocery store in the country offers free home delivery shopping.
Ideal for those who do not like the car, the apartment is easily accessible as it is only 10 minutes walk from the funicular (stop Carescione)
For those who arrive by car, we recommend you pay attention to the narrow roads that cross the country and that make it so special.

LOVED the view!

Absolutely loved staying here, the views are amazing. The property was clean and perfect for us. Prepare yourself for the drive up with skinny roads but fully enjoyed our stay.

Close to Heaven

What an amazing property with a spectacular view of Como, The Swiss Alps and on a clear day Milano. Our hosts Benedetta and Alberto are awesome to deal with and made sure our stay met our expectations. The apartment is well appointed, the master bedroom big and the bed very comfortable. The location is a hikers paradise. Because the apartment is in a hill town you are either walking uphill or down. To get to and from Como you can take the Funicular (cable car) or drive if you have a car. The deck is the perfect place to relax, lay in the sun and have a glass of wine. It is so peaceful and quiet you will think you’re in Heaven. Thank you for an amazing stay!

Beautiful, clean, great stay

We liked everything in our stay but the access is quite complicated. If you are not used to drive in narrow streets it can be very tricky. The funicular is great but is at a walking distance to be taken into account when you plan your day. Otherwise everything was great.

Breathtaking view of Lake Como

Wonderful location, perfect support from the owner, amazing restaurants nearby. Just watch out for the narrow streets when you arrive. Full 5 stars.

Une vue epoustouflante !

L'appartement est idealement situe a 15mn a pieds du funiculaire qui permet de descendre a Come tres facilement. La vue de la grande terrasse est tout simplement fantastique : vue sur tout Come, le lac et les Alpes. L'appartement en lui meme a tout ce qu'il faut pour passer un bon sejour. Merci Benedetta pour le contact permanent si besoin et pour les attentions a notre arrivee. En resume, tout etait parfait et nous avons passe un excellent sejour. Nous recommandrons a nos amis.

A nice accommodation with breathtaking view!!

We were with 6 people in total. 3 adults, 3 children. Alberto and Benedetta did everything in there power to make our stay a good one! The communication was also good and fast via what’s app or personal. The apartment was beautiful and clean. A lot bigger than we thought. A little to small for 6 people, but not impossible! We tried with help of Alberto to order groceries from the supermarket but when we arrived at the supermarket it was not possible to get a delivery. That makes it difficult with a lot of people and grocery shopping. We where by train, so we did everything walking. That is a challenge! Especially for people who have problems with walking!! The apartment would be perfect if there was also a little bit more shade because the terras is constantly in the sun (we liked that fyi), a swimming pool or jacuzzi to cool off would be nice because you can not easily swim in the como lake nearby and a swimming pool/beach is not close to the apartment and expensive to do every day. But we had a nice stay. Thank you Benedetta and Alberto!

3 jours avec vue

L'appartement est encore plus joli que sur les photos et la vue est effectivement incroyable. Je m'etais préparée à une belle vue, mais le résultat était au delà de mes attentes. L'accès à Côme est rapide par le funiculaire, et même le retour mi août était assez rapide pour remonter, malgré la foule (le plus simple est d'acheter des billets aller retour depuis Brunate, pour éviter la longue queue au guichet à Côme). Le village est très joli, avec supérette pour les courses et de bons restaurants. Nous avons testé une randonnée autour de Brunate, ombragée, mais avec des sentiers très pentus. Et bien sûr la balade en bateau jusqu'à Bellagio. 2h30 pour y aller, c'était très beau. Il est possible en arrivant sur place, d'upgrader le retour pour prendre un fast boat (45 minutes). Le contact avec Benedetta était facile et cordial. Benedetta nous a aidé à trouver des billets pour le bateau car à la mi août, ce n'est pas ce qu'il y a de plus facile. Je recommande cette location.

Beautiful View

You cannot beat this view of Como! Magical! Only drawback is that you have to be a capable driver to make it to this apartment. The roads are tight and can be tricky to navigate. We also enjoyed the restaurant options in the area and went to Il Falchetto 3 times during our stay of 4 nights ;)

Sehr schöne Wohnung, sagenhafte Aussicht, sehr nette und hilfsbereite Vermieterin. Man ist schnell in Como und wir haben Ausfüge nach Mailand und mehrere Orte am Comer See gemacht.

Beautiful Brunate

The property is fantastic, the location is beautiful however getting up and down the mountain is something that is a bit of a challenge sometimes with the very narrow roads in some parts and this can slow you down a bit ( a very minor inconvenience for such a great place to stay) - this has absolutely nothing to do with the wonderful property or the kindness of Benedetta and Alberto throughout our stay. The house has everything you need to relax and enjoy an amazing view each day, sunrise and sunset are fantastic with the views of the city and the alps as described. Locally there are great restaurants (highly recommend the Falchetto just 500m away from the house) and facilities in the village and the history is very interesting. We are very grateful for the time we spent here and will be staying again for sure, thankyou Benedetta and Alberto!

Quiet Spot with a beautiful view

It can't get much quieter than this location overlooking the beautiful town of Como. The unit is as advertised and the terrace is fantastic. Easy walk to the funicolare once you get tickets (ticket machine at the top was broken and would only sell one-way, so needed to go to the bottom to buy returns). Short ride to the lake. Brunate has some great hikes and parks. Enjoy.

Tolle Ferienwohnung

Sehr freundliche Gastgeber, vollstes Vertauen, sehr Sauber. Wir würden jederzeit wieder kommen. Phantastische Aussicht über Como. Brunate (Ort selbst) erfordert mutigen Fahrstil und man sollte gut zu Fuß sein. Die Unterkunft selbst ist perfekt.

Wunderbare Aussicht über Como und den See. Wohnung praktisch ausgestattet. Vermieter sehr gastfreundlich und behilflich. Autofahrt von Como bis Brunate 20 Minuten über engen Strassen. Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit.

Mi è piaciuto la tranquilità ed essere un po' "fuori dal mondo".

È un bellissimo posto di partenza per fare delle passegggiate e godersi sentieri non troppo impegnativi con delle belle viste. La cucina è buona, pur piccola, per cui ci vuole una buona pianificazione per chi vuole cucinare menù impegnativi. Ci sono nelle vicinanze però tanti ristoranti e trattorie, per cui non ci sono problemi. Ci siamo trovati bene e due adulti possono godersi una bella vacanza.

A Top of the World apartment, beautifully presented and cared for.

Right from the start Benedetta and Alberto were welcoming and helpful. The description of the apartment is accurate and the photos true. We bought the 30 day funicular card- but you can only buy this at the main ticket office, at the bottom, and only early morning when it is not busy as it takes about ten minutes to process each card. The funicular is very busy during the day so best to go down early and return late, this was not a hardship! The views over Como are stunning and the deck is a joy to sit on and watch the evening lights come on in the city. I would thoroughly recommend this property for a couple or a family.

Erholung in bester Lage

Es war wirklich ein außergewöhnlicher Urlaub. Die Wohnung hat alles was man braucht. Man kann mit dem Auto bis vor die Wohnung fahren. Die Bergstation der Standseilbahn ist in 20 Min. zu Fuß (steil bergauf) zu erreichen. Unten in Como sind dann direkt Bahnhof und Schiffsanleger. Die Aussicht von der Terrasse ist einmalig, Wir sind sehr zufrieden.

Toller Blick auf Como

Die Straßen sind sehr eng für eine Autoanreise. Der Weg lohnt sich aber: Frische, kühle Luft und ein herrlicher Ausblick! Gut, dass der Funiculare in der Nähe ist, so kann man das Auto stehen lassen. Weil es eine Bedarfshaltestelle auf dem Weg nach unten gibt, braucht man auch nur bergab zu gehen. Es war eine tolle Woche!

Schöne Wohnung mit sensationellem Blick über den Comer See

Schöne, helle Ferienwohnung, sehr sauber - das beste aber der tolle Blick vom Schlafzimmerfenster und von der Terrasse auf Como und den See! Hat uns wirklich gut gefallen! Brunate ist auch ohne Auto gut zu erreichen. Wir haben uns für die Woche ein Dauerticket für die Standseilbahn gekauft (Monatsticket für 35€). Das war eine ideale Mischung: unten in Como das quirlige Stadtleben und oben in Brunate totale Ruhe und Entspannung. Brunate ist auch ein guter Ausgangspunkt für relativ leichte Bergwanderungen. Die Vermieter Benedetta und Alberto waren sehr nett und hilfsbereit.
