About this property

Set in its own private park, complete with delightful woodland pathways, this elegant liberty (art noveau) villa is superbly located for exploring the very best of Tuscany. Lucca, Pistoia, Chianti Rufina, Chianti Classico, Casentino National Park and Valdarno are less than one hour driving and the center of Firenze is easily reachable in 35 minutes by train from San Piero a Sieve which is only 7 km. Villa Sofia is in the countryside of the area called Mugello where there are a lots of attractions like Bilancino Lake (10 km), Mugello Circuit (very famous for Motorcycle Grand Prix), the Fashion Outlet Mc Arthur Glen and several interesting medieval towns like Scarperia, Barberino, Vicchio and Borgo San Lorenzo. The villa has been extremely well renovated and provides the most fabulous, spacious site for a perfect holiday. It is an expansive house providing high standard of accommodation, tasteful furnishing blend beautifully with the Art Noveau style. Outside a wonderful garden with a 14 X 6 swimming pool and a park where guest can walk and relax their mind. Villa Sofia is ideal for 2-3 families or a large group of friends who want to enjoy each other’s company in perfect privacy. On request it is possible to rent Vespa or Fiat 500, make an experience in Mugello circuit and have a private chef at home. Pool is open from 1st of May until 2nd of October.

Excellent séjour !

Très belle maison et superbe jardin, chambres et salles de bain soignées et spacieuses. Seule la cuisine pourrait être mieux aménagée pour une maison pouvant accueillir autant de personnes. Le village de Scarperia à proximité est charmant et Florence très facile d'accès en train. Merci à Leonardo et Massimo pour la qualité des échanges et de l'accueil sur place.

Séjour à plusieurs familles

La propriété, la maison et la piscine (grande et agréable) sont très belles. La maison présente cependant plusieurs défauts. La cuisine est dérisoire par rapport au nombre de couchages (pour info, il n'y a pas de lave-vaisselle) . Les literies sont perfectibles et certaines places sont des places précaires. La seconde cuisine se limite en réalité un évier et un second petit frigo. Un plus important, il y a des moustiquaires presque à toutes les fenêtres.

Sehr netter Aufenthalt

Wir sind als Freundesgruppe zu dem Anwesen bereist und waren durchwegs positiv überrascht. Die Villa ist sehr schön und hält was sie verspricht. Auch ein Trip nach Florenz ist von der Villa aus kein Problem!

Viel Platz, großer Pool, aber Küche zu klein

Ein sehr geräumiges Haus mit viel Platz für Indoor und Outdoor Aktivitäten, allerdings etwas wenig Sitzgelegenheiten auf der Terrasse und eine zu kleine Küche. Vom Platz und den Betten her auf jeden Fall für 15 Leute tauglich, aber von der Küche her nicht. Ich war sehr sehr zufrieden mit den Vermietern und sämtliche Kommunikation verlief reibungslos. Das Haus war sehr sauber. WIFI ist leider sehr langsam, benötigt man aber auch in einem Gruppenurlaub nicht unbedingt. Preis Leistungs Verhältnis ist gut!
