Marika's Guesthouse is situated in Nea Chora, just 5 minutes from the beach and 15 minutes from the town and Old Venetian harbour. The newly renovated apartment has a fresh and airy sea theme creating a cool, calming and relaxing environment. It is fully equipped to function as a 'home away from home'.
The apartment is situated on the 1st floor and takes the entire floor. It is very spacious, airy and its special features are extra length beds, top quality mattresses, pillows and superior linens and beach towels. The bathroom has a shower and a large bath for relaxation, and a separate area with the washing machine. The lounge has a large comfortable sofa couch which sleeps 2, a smart TV and a separate dining area for 6 guests. There is a cozy reading area with a desk. The patio doors open onto the veranda with outdoor table and chairs. The kitchen is fully equipped and has a dishwasher. There is a crib and highchair (on request) for families with infants. There are ceiling fans in both bedrooms as well as air conditioners.

Nick and Marina welcome you to Marika's Guesthouse! Marika was Nick's much loved mother who lived her life to the full. We are passionate about Crete and love sharing our experiences and making our guests feel welcome. We are South African Greeks with 3 daughters and 3 gorgeous grandkids. We have vast experience in the hospitality industry and Nick will enjoy to introduce you to 'his' island and share in his passion for its food and its people.
Why they chose this property
This ground floor property was built in the 70s by Nick's mother Marika. After many years the 1st floor was added and recently the top floor was completed. The 1st floor apartment has recently been renovated and furnished for a relaxing and very enjoyable stay. It is equipped for all year round living. The top floor is a new addition to complete the building.

This apartment is a home away from home. Every detail has been considered for your comfort, relaxation and enjoyment for your holiday in Chania. Every available amenity is within walking distance as well as the beach and the Chania Venetian harbour. Nick and Marina as your hosts are available on the property to answer all your questions and see to all your needs.
