Great apartment

Apartment nicely furbished, large terrace, quiet area. The hosts very helpful. The solution which made tap water drinkable highly appreciated. We loved the place.

Perfect spot to enjoy Crete

We absolutely loved this spacious apartment and both Costas and Artemis were lovely. They met us and made us feel immediately at home. The apartment is beautifully appointed, we even cooked a lovely dinner at home. It was perfect. I would highly recommend as we were very comfortable with our family of 5. My daughter especially loved the bonus “cave” room on the top floor.

Fantastisk lejlighed

Blev taget imod af de sødeste unge mennesker (taler engelsk) som viste os rundt i lejligheden og gav os forslag til hvilke strande og restauranter vi skulle besøge. I køleskabet stod der 3 slags hjemmelavet syltetøj og de havde købt brød, vandmelon og pålæg ind til os. De kom også med æg til os fra svigermors høns. Dejlig lejlighed med store rum og en skøn terrasse hvor vi tilbragte meget tid. Der er alt i udstyr i køkkenet (incl opvaskemaskine), så vi stødte ikke på noget som manglede. Der var også en etage længere oppe samt tagterrasse (uden havemøbler), men den etage brugte vi ikke grundet antal personer vi var afsted (5 stk), så nedre etage var nok til os. Der er elevator direkte op i lejligheden (kræver nøgle), ellers tag trapperne (gratis motion 😄). Ejeren af lejligheden kiggede forbi efter et par dage for at høre om alt var som det skulle være og ville lige høre hvornår rengøringsdamen måtte komme og gøre rent og skifte sengetøj og håndklæder. Så dejlig service incl i prisen. Ikke langt fra lejligheden ligger et supermarked (flere etager) og der handlede vi ind. I samme område ligger et pizzaria og en restaurant (man kan både spise der og de har Take away). Om mandagen er der et markede lige neden for lejligheden. Inde i byen, 16-18 min gang ligger de hyggeligste små butikker og restauranter. I lejligheden ligger oversigt over de restauranter som værtsparret anbefaler, vi prøvede Salis (de har fisk, lam, pasta og rib-eye). Vi fik serveret dagens fisk Red Snapper og det smagte skønt. De fleste restauranter afslutter med lille dessert og et glas Raki/Ouzo på husets regning. Hver dag ringede vi efter Taxi som kørte os til stranden, ca 6-8 minutters kørsel. Chaufførerne kører frisk til, men det vender man sig til. De koster mellem 5-6 euro. På stranden kan man leje solsenge, 2 stk for 5 euro incl parasol. De serverer også drinks og småretter, ellers kan du selv medbringe mad og vand. Stranden består af sand, vær opmærksom på enkelte sten i vandet. Dagen før afrejse kiggede ejeren forbi og forærede os krydderier fra svigermors have pakket ind i en lille fin stofpose. Meget positive over for denne lejlighed og ejernes store gæstfrihed.
