Former miller's house

LA MONESTIERE, former miller's house, independent and autonomous, it can accommodate up to 6 people maximum.
On the ground floor :
1 living room with fireplace, fitted kitchen with dining area.
1 laundry room (washing machine, dryer)
Upstairs:
3 bedrooms, one with an en-suite bathroom, 1 shower room and 1 separate toilet.
Ping pong table. Tv, stereo, internet + tel. Enclosed garden in front of the house with kitchen and living room, garden open to the rear. Private swimming pool overlooking the ruins of the Château de Bruzac. On the banks of the La Côle river, ideal for lovers of trout fishing.
Pricing and payment terms
Deposit: 25% upon reservation.
Balance: 4 weeks before the start of the stay.
Arrivals are from Saturday to Saturday from 5 p.m. and departures no later than 9:30 a.m.

For payment by bank transfer, sending of RIB / IBAN on request.
We also accept vacancy checks in payment of all or part.

The prices indicated are all charges included: pool maintenance, water, gas (except heating), electricity (package).
On the other hand, the tenants must pay, to the owners, the tourist tax: 0.33 € / night / person over 18 years.
Deposit: 860 €. (returned within 30 days)
Options offered:
- cleaning fee: 80 €.
-heating supplement 90 € depending on season
Cot and high chair available free of charge on request.

Loved our time here!

Such a special place in a tiny village St. Pierre de Cole. Had everything we needed plus a nice pool, beautiful scenery, and Chateau Bruzac to look out on every morning made it very special. This is a wonderful place and Anita and Françoise are wonderful hosts.

The perfect spot.

We could not have been more pleased with our choice of house for an 11 day break near Brantome. Superb setting and close to town and tourist sites. Our hosts Anita and François were delightful and could not have been more helpful. If only we could have stayed longer!

A Wonderful Property in a Beautiful Location

We spent a very enjoyable two weeks in this former miller's house. It was easy to find, well located for a variety of day trips and best of all, was a very relaxing place to spend a holiday. The house is very well equipped, the gardens and pool are maintained to a very high standard, and the hosts, Anita and Francois, are clearly diligent while respecting the need for discretion. We loved our time here and hope to return next year. Bravo, Anita and Francois.

Another Perfect Stay

This was our second visit to La Monastiere (former miller's house) and everything was as wonderful as last year. The location, facilities, and hosts are all wonderful. The improvements to the swimming pool were especially appreciated. Bravo Francois and Anita.C'était notre deuxième visite à La Monastiere (ancienne maison du meunier) et tout était aussi merveilleux que l'année dernière. L'emplacement, les installations et les hôtes sont tous merveilleux. Les améliorations apportées à la piscine ont été particulièrement appréciées. Bravo François et Anita.

Familienurlaub im Périgord Vert

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Haus ist gut ausgestattet. Die Vermieter sind sehr freundlich und immer ansprechbar. Als ein Unwetter aufzog, stellte man uns sogar einen überdachten Stellplatz für das Auto zur Verfügung. Die Lage am Rande des National Parks ist ideal für viele Ausflüge.

We werden vriendelijk ontvangen door de eigenaren. Ze spreken alleen Frans, maar dat was goed te doen. Ze zijn zeer vriendelijk. Huis is heel idyllisch. Prachtig begroeit met klimop en de tuin (voor en achter) heeft meer dan genoeg schaduw. Binnen zijn verschillende stijlen toegepast. Slaapkamers waren landelijk ingericht. Zwembad is prima, ondanks dat je om de stofzuigerrobot moest zwemmen (die mocht/kon er niet uit). Maar dat maakte niet uit.

Belle demeure

Maison très agréable à vivre, bien équipée et disposant d'un jardin sans vis-à-vis en partie ombragé, séparé en une zone avant et arrière (très appréciable quand les enfants jouent au foot) et enfin d'une piscine un peu fraîche mais oh combien appréciable par ce chaud été.

Un véritable enchantement

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans une maison de caractère qui nous a permis de vivre agréablement la canicule grâce à sa fraîcheur et son jardin ombragé. Les hôtes sont discrets mais réactifs en cas de besoin. Il y en a pour tous les goûts grâce à la piscine, aux visites de châteaux, au canoë, et à la gastronomie locale. Nous recommandons fortement cette location. Pour la première fois, la réalité dépassait les photos du site.

charmante maison dans une belle nature

La propriété est nichée dans la verdure au calme et proche de sentiers de randonnées. Beaucoup de sites à visiter à proximité. Les enfants comme les adultes ont apprécié l'espace intérieur et extérieur aménagé avec gout. La maison reste fraiche même en période de canicule. La piscine et la table de ping pong ont eu du succès. Les propriétaires sont accueillants et réactifs. De superbes vacances!

Maison charmante et parfaitement équipée, jardin magnifique dans un cadre exceptionnel (vue sur la campagne verdoyante et la rivière, château en perspective). Nous avons passé d'excellentes vacances dans cette propriété, au calme de la campagne, mais néanmoins a proximité de nombreux lieux touristiques de la région. Cette propriété est également idéale pour les enfants (piscine fermée, jardin spacieux, jeux d'extérieur...)

Absolutely wonderful !

A superb few days in a glorious setting! The house was beautifully clean with every kitchen implement you could want! The pool was gorgeous although we didn’t use it due to cool weather! Lovely walks straight from the door and easy access to various towns and tourist attractions by car! Would DEFINITELY return!!

Nice, cool house in a beautiful scenery

Great house, great garden and a beautiful ruin on the hill opposite the house. The pool is delicious and the owners very helpfull. We stayed for 2 weeks and there was plenty to do in the surroundings. 15 min walk to the boulangery and supermarkets within 11 km. To enjoy all the good and peace of France.

Merveilleux séjour

Notre séjour a été fabuleux, dans une magnifique maison. Tout est conforme à la description de l'annonce. L'équipement est optimal et nous avons profité au maximum d'une belle piscine privée et du tennis de table ! L'accueil des propriétaires est des plus chaleureux et ils ont été très disponibles dès que nous avions besoin d'eux. Nous avons eu l'occasion de faire du canoë, découvrir de beaux villages et grottes ! Bref un merveilleux séjour !
