The center of De Cocksdorp is 400 meters away, with various shops and restaurants. The island of Texel offers many cycling and walking paths. All sights, activities, and villages with terraces and shops are located within a short distance of each other. Take the children to the Caluna swimming paradise or to see the seals at Ecomare, and don't forget to stop for a drink on a terrace in Den Burg or De Koog. For hikers, the Slufter nature reserve is highly recommended, as is, of course, a unique guided mudflat walk.
