Amazing cottage
Absolutely delighted with the cottage. Exceedingly well equipped with quality furnishings and a very comprehensive welcome pack. Delightful location with stunning views. We’ve stayed in many cottages around the UK and Wyndthorpe is by far the most impressive we’ve had the pleasure to stay in.

What an amazing cottage with stunning views. It is very well equipped, very clean and is ideal for a peaceful break. Victoria and James were very friendly hosts and made sure our stay was very comfortable. The food hamper gives you a great start and is such a great gesture. Would love to go again.

Excellent for Kids
We took our 2 children away for the week (5yo and 18 months). The cottage is spacious, with 2 rooms. Really impressive to look at, had a lot of appeal on arrival. A cot was provided, but we took our own. I had a look at the one provided, and it did look good, but we didn't use it so I can't comment. The kitchen was more stocked than any cottage we've ever stayed at, you would want for nothing, really impressed. Loads of cupboard room too, for doing one shop for the week then just enjoying your time there. The bedrooms were a good size, and loads of cupboard room in both which made our lives easier. TV worked (not always the case), so we had a fall back in case of bad weather, but didn't need it. The place was clean, and we had an excellent time.
Overall I was really impressed with the cottage, it was better set up for kids than many specialist child friendly places. We got to the beaches easily from there, and had a great week. I would highly recommend the place. Also, we thought we lost the keys at one stage, and the owners were very friendly and helpful, but we quickly found the 5yo had stashed the keys in her car seat.

Comfortable, charming cottage.
The cottage was very clean, attractive and well equipped. The beds were very comfortable. The only problems we encountered were with the heating, which seemed to have a mind of its own and the shower, which was sometimes too hot to stand under. We think, but are uncertain, that the heating system (Heatmiser !), was set to override the temperatures set by the occupants, thus affecting the house underfloor central heating and the boiler itself. The underfloor heating was also slow to react.
The owners were very helpful and tried to sort out the heating but they were new to the property themselves and hadn't fully realised how obstinate the timer was. For example, the temperature in one bedroom was set at 8 degrees and despite warming up temporarily after the owners' intervention, quickly reverted to 8 degrees.
The cottage has a lovely view over miles of countryside and we found it very relaxing, despite the irritation of the

A perfect short break location
We had a lovely stay at Wyndthorpe Cottage and the owners were very helpful. The views are stunning. There was a minor issue on leaving but this was addressed. The hamper was great with lots of fresh Dorset produce. We would definitely go again.
