Peaceful, relaxing stay

Three families stayed at Villa Antequera and it was absolutely gorgeous. The villa was as described, the kitchen well equipped and we enjoyed using the BBQ in the evening while enjoying the sunset. It was not a problem for us but the pool is not heated and as you are in the hills it was quite cold, especially in the morning which meant the very young children couldn't stay in it for very long.

Beautiful villa

Open with loads of space & fab views. Each room had an en-suite. Plenty of space for large group. Well equipped. Gorgeous pool with easy access. Josefa was amazing & so attentive & came immediately if we needed anything.

Beautiful stay with perfect view

We were with 10 adults in the accommodation for a week. The villa is very nice with a beautiful view. From here Antequerra was not far (about 20 minutes). Here you could go shopping very well. Malaga is about 1h away but easily accessible via the highway. It was no problem to arrive earlier and leave later. All in all a super accommodation that I can only recommend to everyone!

Wonderful, high standard location with a breathtaking view

Perfectly maintained, well-equipped and spacious villa surrounded by beautiful garden. The place is located high in the mountains, but it is worth enduring the hardships of the access road to see this wonderful view around! The villa itself is equipped with taste and to a high standard. The huge kitchen and dining room has all the necessary utensils, dishes, cutlery and glasses. Four bedrooms are rooms of a high standard, the fifth bedroom directly adjoins the property caretakers' apartment and you can hear every sound from their rooms, so the house is rather the optimal solution for 8 people. All five bedrooms have their own private bathroom, which is a rare luxury in holiday houses. The couple who take care of the property are very nice and helpful, but it's good to have someone who speaks Spanish on your team to communicate with them :) They help in every matter and solve any problem. They keep the house and pool very clean and take care of all surroundings. The place is a great base for exploring Andalusia, and the nearby Antequera is a beautiful town for visiting and shopping. Contact with the facility manager on Vrbo was perfect. The stay in this lovely place left us with exceptionally fantastic memories. We will definitely come back here someday!

I cannot say enough about this property. Each bedroom had a full bath. The house had full AC. 3 large fridges, several coffee makers (of different types), a large dining table for 10 people, a bar, games, large TV with HDMI input, a large foyer with fountain, plenty of room to spread out, an outdoor toilet and shower poolside. The house is on a hill surrounded by an olive grove, providing a 270 degree view of the hilly countryside. Gorgeous sunsets. Outdoor kitchen with charcoal grill. Even a large outdoor propane paella pan. Parking for 6 cars. A crib and high chair for the baby.In addition to the wonderful setting and amenities, our hosts were incredible. They came running if you made them aware of any issue, and addressed it immediately. They are a very friendly, respectful family that lives in a house on the property.Note the house is secluded. The town of Antequera is a 20 minute drive. There is nothing within walking distance.This is the perfect property for a gathering of up to 10 people. We will be hard-pressed to find a similar one next time around.

Eine Villa mit Ausblick

Wir haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt in Las Cuerdas. Sehr gepflegtes Haus - super toller Garten und der Ausblick von der Terrasse am Abend ist wahrlich atemberaubend. Josefa und ihr Mann ( betreuen das Haus ) sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit ( man sollte ein paar Brocken spanisch verstehen ). Es fehlt an nichts und wir bedanken uns für die gute Zeit. Hasta la proxima !

Nothing was too much trouble...

We had a brilliant time, there was absolutely nothing more we could have asked for. The photographs accurately reflect what an exceptional place Villa Antequera is. The Villa is out of the way and a car is essential, but all the better for it. Outside is glorious - plenty of shaded area, loungers, and a lovely pool, meticulously maintained. The inside itself is spotlessly clean and has a bar which went down well. It’s spacious (even for the nine of us) and fully equipped. Every question asked was answered before and after booking and literally nothing was too much trouble for Pedro and Maria who, kept the outside spaces immaculate and cleared the waste/recycling every day and dealt with everything that comes up. On our last night we had a family emergency requiring an Ambulance and a hospital visit. You would have thought we were part of Pedro and Maria’s family, without hesitation they did everything they could to help, which we are all very grateful for. I think it is because they are good kind people and not just because we were guests.
