We had a perfect 4 days with our 17 visiting our 21 year old. The apartment is beautiful and perfect location. The property manager was very responsive and gave us great restaurants off the tourist path. Loved it all. We hope to return.

The apartment was in a great location near the Spanish Steps, a short walk to most of the sites and to shopping. However the interior of the apartment needs renovations. It is simple and the bathrooms are bleak, tiny and somewhat dirty. There was an odor in both bathrooms that we could not get rid of. It was just two of us so we luckily did not need the second bedroom. I used it as a dressing room. This room is made for (2) children not for Adults. This is a good place if you are not looking for any luxuries and a simple place in center city works for you. We had an extended stay so we did not enjoy the apartment. I definitely needs to be freshened up for the price. Also sheets and towels were not good quality, and the mattresses are firm and low quality.

The apartment was fully renovated in 2021 and features high-end finishes exactly as shown in the listing: Venetian plaster with gold trim, oak parquet throughout, a marble kitchen with Miele appliances, and bathrooms with Antonio Lupi fixtures, along with selected antique furnishings. During your extended stay we remained in close contact and no concerns were raised regarding cleanliness, odors, or bed comfort (beds/mattresses are new). Had we been informed promptly, our team would have intervened immediately—resolving issues in real time is essential to us. Your request to extend the stay also led us to believe the accommodation was overall satisfactory. Regarding the second bedroom, the configuration is clearly stated in the listing (photos and floor plan): it includes two standard-size single beds. We encourage guests to review images and layout before booking to ensure the space meets their needs. We also note this is the only “satisfactory” rating among 37 international reviews with top scores (10/10 excellent), but we appreciate your feedback and will take it into account as we continue to improve. This property was very well located with everything from sight-seeing to restaurants within a 20-30 min walk. It was well furnished, comfortable, spacious ,well stocked and quiet despite the tourist filled area, and also very secure. Edoardo is an exemplary host who was responsive and helpful at every instance, gave great recommendations and helped arrange transport for us whenever requested. i would not hesitate to stay here again for a visit to Rome.

This apartment is just amazing! The location is unbeatable, the communication with the owner was the best we have ever had when renting from VRBO and the apartment was exactly as advertised and better! The property itself was simply amazing, it was clean, conveniently located, spacious and with all the amenitities we need! The location is by far the best in Rome. Everything you need is basically within walking distance which is also an added plus. Edoardo made the check in and checkout process very easy & even made great suggestions on places to visit while we were there. Can’t beat the location! Literally steps from the Spanish Steps. Walking distance to Trevi Fountain and so many more attractions. Metro station and taxi queue are also nearby. Edourdo was a great host. Met us at property upon check in, showed us the map and where we were, pointed out the grocery store (a block away), and also had a list of his favorite restaurants and cafes, which were all about a ten-minute walk away or less. We were 4 adults and two children and we were very comfortable during our 5 night stay. Would recommend this apartment to others and would absolutely stay here again!

Great location!!

The property is located steps from Piazza di Spagna with easy walking access to all of the key sites, excellent shops, and restaurants. The Colosseum and Vatican City are each a 30+ minute walk, so you might choose to take a taxi to those sites. The apartment was perfect for our family of 4 with our desired amenities of air conditioning, washing machine and dryer, and kitchen. The bathrooms were not luxurious, but each was more than satisfactory. Our 5-day stay was terrific, and Edoardo’s list of restaurant recommendations was fantastic. It was always wonderful to stroll by the Trevi Fountain or Spanish Steps on our walk home each night. We’re thankful to have found this apartment as it helped provide a great experience at a very good value.

Perfect apartment!

We stayed in this apartment at the start of June. Before we arrived, Edoardo contacted me and arranged transportation from the train station to the apartment and transportation from the apartment to airport when we left. It was wonderful to have that arranged for us. The apartment is beautiful! It has a beautiful marble entry to the building, a lift, and functioning air conditioning. The apartment also has a safe for those who want to use it. For anyone who is concerned about noise, we thought it was minimal. The location couldn’t be better. It is close to Trevi fountain, Spanish Steps, and subway. AND it is close to our favorite gelato shop which we found 5 years ago and were thrilled to see it survived the pandemic. We will definitely stay here again for our next trip. 5+ stars! Perfect! Thank you, Edoardo and your team!

…on top of that, a very well-run operation by Edoardo Gallo and his team! We stayed at Edoardo’s Spagna Apartment in the Summer. We were lucky to book with him for 3 out of our 4 nights in Rome.Edoardo was a gracious host. He arranged a transfer from the airport which was well-received by our family after our over-seas flight. Upon arrival, he met us at the apartment and gave us a tour. It was clean, well-appointed, well-maintained, and air-conditioned! He also prepared a binder full of instructions for the appliances in the apartment and a generous list of recommended restaurants. Edoardo was available by text or phone if we had any questions, with a quick response time. He was very easy to communicate with and his English is very good.The building has a dramatic grand entrance with its elegant wooden doors, decorative ironwork, expansive ceiling, beautiful marble stairwell, a charming elevator, and a concierge.The street of the apartment is part of a very lively neighborhood in the historic district. Within walking distance to- The Spanish Steps and other tourist attractions, prime high-end shopping, smaller shops, restaurants, cafes, supermarkets, and many spots for souvenirs.We enjoyed several lovely restaurant meals from Edoardo’s list and also enjoyed cooking our own meals in the Spagna kitchen.Highly recommend! Our stay was comfortable and spacious for our family. Wish we could have stayed longer!
