Apartment is entered either through hall door, 600 year-old spiral sand stone steps, or a private lift.

Deep-set windows, thick walls contribute to the ancient romance of this flat in the most prestigious area of Prague, Mala Strana.
The views from the bedroom and the living room are breathtaking as this building sits on the river both the bedrooms are tranquil and quiet. The building is completely reconstructed and this Renaissance Apartments offers a modern bath and kitchen with all modern conveniences.

Big, open, clean apartment in the perfect location for a week in Prague.The main photo on the listing though is a bit misleading because that little tree on the right is now a big tree which blocks most of the view of the bridge! That said, it's such a good location that you can walk 2 minutes to get a better view anyway!Hosts were friendly, communication was excellent, taxis arranged through them were spot on and the apartment is very well equipped (except for missing an oven tray or two).Highly recommended. We'd book here again for sure.

Best stay ever

This was the best place to stay. Warm, spacious and Ilan was easy to communicate with making our stay even easier. The apartment is private and in walking distance to everything without being right in the centre of town which made this even better. If we should return to Prague this is where we would want to stay. Thanks for the great end to our European holiday.

Great location and apartment

This apartment and location was amazing. My kids cheered when then arrived and saw how big it was. The rest of our travels throughout Europe have been in shoeboxes. And it even had a dryer for washing clothes!

A Perfect Stay!

A wonderful place. The apartment was very clean and the views amazing. Dare I saw we almost did not want to leave while in Prague! But we had to- the location was perfect, and convenient to all things we wanted for. Fabulous Apartment

A fabulous apartment in a quiet location yet close to everything you would need or want to see. Every thing was as described or in most cases better. Great location and wonderful apartment

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the apartment. The rooms and apartment were much larger than we expected so it was very nice to have a spacious apartment for our stay in Prague. Plus the views were terrific! The river/Charles Bridge view from the master bedroom and the castle from the living room were great. The apartment is 3 minutes walk to the Charles Bridge and a great base to get around the city. Ilan and his staff made it very easy - met us when we arrived and arranged a great driver to take us to the airport when we were homeward bound. We would easily recommend these apartments to friends.

A room with a view....or two!

This was our second stay in this wonderful apartment and it won't be our last. It is spacious and comfortable in an unbeatable location, within walking distance of everything. Situated In a lovely quiet cobbled street with the canal running right outside the bedroom windows (like having a stay in Venice thrown in-at Prague prices!) it makes a stay in this beautiful city even more perfect. Wonderful apartment

Our family of three recently stayed in the first floor apartment. The location cannot be beat--slightly away from the busy tourist area but still close enough to walk everywhere. There is a lovely bakery down the street and a great pub steps away. The apartment itself has everything you could possibly need and the views are amazing. Ilan was very helpful upon check in and arranged a car service for our very early morning flight. We've traveled extensively and used VRBO in many cities across Europe. This was easily one of the nicest apartments we have ever stayed in. I would book here again in a heartbeat!

ELEGANCE close to everything yet quite

The listing description was accurate regarding location layout and its facilities. The property was well maintained and clean.The apartment is very large with beautiful decor and breathtaking views. The apartment is close to everything yet quite. We walked to the Castle, Christmas boutique in Old Prague and over the Charles bridge a few times. The restaurants and coffee shops across the street had great food. The managers and their staff are very polite and provide great customer service. I would recommend this apartment to all my family and friends.

Excellent location

Near all the attractions, it was a great experience to stay for six nights with two sons aged 23 and 13 in this lovely apartment in historic part of Prague. Prague is kings of all cities and this apartment, well managed by Walter, is the most suitable locale to explore it. We enjoyed thoroughly. Underground station is just three minutes' walk and tram station is just opposite the underground station. Buy a pass of your days of stay or daily ticket and go wherever you want. Exploring Prague on foot is, however, more exciting and we did it most of the time.

Prague Experience

We would highly recommend this property to rent in Prague. The location is ideal, just at the foot of the Charles Bridge in Mala Strana. The apartment is spacious, clean and updated with comfortable furnishings. There are views of the bridge and castle which give an historical meaning to our stay. We were greeted upon arrival by Ilan Morris, the property manager, who showed us the amentities of the apartment. It was safe and well maintained. Ilan arranged for our airport transfers and also gave us ideas for activities and dining. Moreover the photos of the apartment provided an accurate representation of the property. Superb

We have no words. The apartment is superb. Better than the photographs. We have been renting apartments for our holidays quite a few years and this one is probably one of the best, if nor the best, we have ever stayed. It combines everything: the distribution, the decoration, the neighborhood, the views. Sincerely, we cannot imagine a better place to stay in Prague. Everything was arranged perfectly by Ilan, including the airport transfer. When we came back home we could not stop showing it to all our friends (we will not allow them to go to any other place in Prague). We strongly recommend it.

Home away from home.

I traveled to Prague for the first time with my 85 year old Mother. When we walked into this flat I was so impressed to see our accommodations. The flat was even better than the pictures. It is so spacious, inviting and provided us with all the comforts we are used to at home. The bed was wonderful and we loved the furnishing. It is clean and well thought out. The owner Walter is so hospitable and he provided us transportation to and from the airport, he was there to meet us at our arrival to the flat, and he helped us find our way around Prague. My favorite things were the sound of the people coming and going up the steps, how convent the location of the flat was to everything, the library at the monastery, lunch outside at Bellavista that overlooks the city and a must see: Loreta. I can not wait to return with my husband and I would recommend this to all my friends and family. Romance, comfort and Best location...It has it all!

Magical rental in the center of beautiful Prague

This is a fabulous rental! As always, it's better than the listing shows! I felt I was in a fairytale castle in this dwelling, despite it being an apartment. Everything was upgraded, comfortable, spacious, with amazing views of historic Prague. The kitchen in the photos looked outdated...wrong! It's totally updated and wonderful for cooking your breakfasts in before you step out your door for your sightseeing...and perfect for the gourmet meals in the evening when you get back. The location was perfect for me...everything was close by and I only utilized a taxi for adventures further out of the city. As for airport transportation, Veronika lined that up for me, so i didn't have to worry about that at all and it was high quality transport. As for Veronika, she was wonderful to communicate with before I got to the city, and when I got there, she went into detail with me all the things that would make for a better trip and found me the shops I wanted to find. It was like hiring a tour guide for my stay! And the apartment was very secure, so I never was concerned about my safety during my stay. I would love to come back to this wonderful city, and I would rent from Veronika and Ilan again in a heartbeat. This is probably one of the very best vacation rentals I have ever stayed in and will bring me memories of my trip for a lifetime!

Rent it - You Will Love It!

I can't say enough good things about Ilan, his wife and this apartment, which we stayed in for six nights. We were delayed in our arrival and didn't get in until midnight, but nothing could ruffle lan's feathers! He was gracious and welcoming, with never a hint that we had inconvenienced him, which we obviously had, althought through no fault of our own. The apartment is lovely - open and wonderfully spacious, and immaculate. It lived up to - and maybe even surpassed - the photos. On this trip, we were a family reunion of 15 relatives meeting in Prague and our flat was by far the favorite! Perfect location, and wonderful views of Prague. This beautiful city made me so proud of my Czech heritage. If you have never been there - you owe it to yourself to go. Definitely one of the most beautiful and best preserved cities in the world. It's like Disneyland, only better... Ilan and his wife went out of their way to make sure that our time in Prague was fantastic, which it was. When we return in the near future, it will be to this same building, but maybe we'll rent the flat above, just to mix things up a bit. Simply Perfect

My twenty-four year old son and I have toured Europe/Asia extensively over the past twelve years and this flat is by far the best property I’ve ever rented - and for once everything worked. The apartment covers the entire 2nd floor from front to back (one flight up above a very quiet bookstore) with panoramic views from all rooms. It appears to be approximately 1700 sq. ft., when the average upscale hotel room is about 200 sq. ft. The neighborhood is super safe with the apartment being secured by three separate locked doors. The place is immaculate and includes a washer with separate dryer that are both large by European standards. The kitchen is beautiful and spanking new; however, never put to the test since there are far too many restaurants in walking distance and prices in Prague are about half what they would be in the US. For beer drinkers, a 0.5 liter stein of Pilsner Urquell is $1.65 all over town. Bathrooms are both brand new. Other amenities include free wifi and Ilan has a spare laptop in the apartment. Irons, ironing boards, pots, pans, plates, glasses, etc. make this place move in ready and in my case better than home. However, should you prefer the ongoing noise of a hotel, which includes chattering maids and door knocking starting at 7AM; the endless clanging of kitchen pots and yelling of maintenance personnel; the 3AM wedding music and inebriated guests (as we experienced in Poland); and the 4000 calorie obligatory breakfast, then this is not the place for you. Transportation from/to the airport is a flat fee of 600CZK, or $31 US, and both drivers were Americans.

Can't wait to return!!

We found this amazing apartment, above a cozy and quaint bookstore, to be more wonderful than we could have ever anticipated.. We all had sound sleep on good beds and thrilled with the scenery right from the windows' views. The street below the front windows are good for people watching as the tourists and locals move along the cobbled streets and mosaic tiled side walks while stopping at the many cafes and shops that are part of this historic and facinating neighborhood. It is bright and clean and never did we feel concerned for our safety. In fact, the flat is fortressed by iron gates and secure doors. We were happy to use the elevator for our bags, otherwise the steps up to the place are very easy to climb. The back windows, from the bedrooms, have a breath-taking view of The Charles Bridge and just below is a facinating canal where little boats pass by followed by the flotilla of Mallard Ducks that inhabit the waterway. Apparently the building is 16th century however the entire apartment is very modern and quite lovely. At the end of a busy day of touring, it is a real joy to come home to this very happy and cozy home. In addition to the accomodations, the deal is enhanced by the warm and sincere welcome by David. He is a true gentleman and very knowledgeable about the Czech Republic and all of Prague. He has lived there many years and traveled extensively in the area and throughout Europe. David and his associate were really the best feature of this vacation. They out did themselves to ensure that our stay was joyful and that we felf completely comfortable. When we sadly had to leave we felt as if we were saying farewell to dear family members. David gave us big warm hugs and sent us on our way to the airport in a big stretch limo!! We honestly had no complaints, only complements and much gratitude for the vacation of a lifetime. We plan to return soon and wouldn't hesitate to recommend this most satisfying accomodation. A+++++ Recommended for: Age 55+, adventure seekers, girls getaway, tourists without a car, sightseeing, families with teenagers, families with young children, people with disabilities, romantic getaway.

The location is fantastic, with a view of Old Town and the castle. Tour boats pass directly below the bedroom window and at night you can hear music from cafes nearby. The apartment is spacious with a full kitchen. An elevator goes straight to the apartment. The hosts provided excellent information.
