Beautiful and unique small apartment in a wonderful location on a pedestrian access only street. Owner is very friendly and helpful. He gave us suggestions for restaurants and parking. Plenty of great restaurants within easy walking distance. The town of Sammichele di Bari is a hidden gem. Lovely stone streets and architecture. Highly recommended.

The town of Sammichele di Bari is a perfect base from which to explore the northern part of Puglia and this studio apartment is very comfortable for 1-2 people especially if you don't plan to do much cooking since the cooking space is minimal. Tall people might also feel a bit claustrophobic especially in the bathroom. When the weather is fine, the outdoor patio will provide a lovely sitting area. I also appreciated the heating since it was quite chilly in March when I stayed here. The studio is located just inside the vehicle limited zone, so finding parking close by can be challenging, especially in the high season. Also it should be mentioned that there are two short sets of very steep steps leading up to the apartment - but fortunately both have sturdy banisters. The pictures of the apartment need to be updated to make it clear that the couch is actually where the bed now is, so there is no sitting area now and no separate bedroom (which is what I had pictured).
