About the host
Hosted by Oliver Bevan

I am an artist (painter) with a certain notoriety in this area, who left London and came to France with a young family in 2001. I have found galleries and a greater appreciation for my work here than I ever had in England! My children, now adult are both bilingual after completing their education in the French system.
Why they chose this property
We wanted to live in this spectacularly beautiful town, make French friends, master the language and enjoy the privileged climate of this area with its wonderful food and wine.We bought apartments within the old ramparts of the town close to where we live. 'The Artist's' was a must as soon as we stepped out onto the terrace. The view over the rooftops was breathtaking.
What makes this property unique
You are right in the centre of the old city, and yet it is not noisy. The terrace is a wonderful spot for a quiet aperitif or a meal in the summer months with a view of the floodlit Duché and its flag fluttering in the breeze.
