Family friendly and beautiful location

We really enjoyed our stay in Casa dos Poços in Grimancelos. The charming house is beautifully located and furthermore there is a big garden, pool and tennis court. The host and owner Daniel was very kind and helpful with any questions. We warmly recommend this place.

Beautiful location and lovely host!

Thanks to Daniel for being a great host, and so accommodating with help booking restaurants etc. The photos on Vrbo don't do the property justice - the gardens and pool area are just beautiful! Very restful, and a great location that is very tranquil, but close to amenities and all main towns in the area as well as the sea (30 mins). Highly recommended!

Relaxed holiday in a beatifiul place

Hospitality from the arrival, until the goodbye was really good. Great advices (in very good English) on where to go, or any other question was supported/answered. The house was beatiful, but the garden and scenery even more. The swimming pool has a nice size and was very clean with a good temperature. Playing tennis was also nice, as well as consuming some fruit from the garden. All together a great holiday.

Best host ever! Beautiful former farmstead, half way between Porto and Braga.

We stay at several short term rental properties each year and this one stands out due to the host. Daniel was awesome! It was like we had our own personal concierge / assistant. Not only did he ensure we had everything we needed for our stay but he went out of his way to find and place reservations for restaurants and wineries for our family. His whole family was welcoming an opened their entire property to us to enjoy. They have multiple rental units available in various sizes to meet anyone's need. Additionally they have two event venues that are available for larger gathers. Anyone that needs a place between Porto and Braga would be very happy staying here.

Paradijs

Het is een prachtige locatie in een heel mooi deel van Portugal. De familie heeft gezorgd voor een heel mooi onderhouden en zeer sfeervol ingericht paradijsje.
Een oud aquaduct op weg er naar toe.
Sfeervol terrein.
Een groot verkoelend ècht zwembad.

Séjour parfait !

Rien à redire. La propriété est magnifique, au calme. D'un charme typique du Portugal. De plus à environ 30 minutes de plusieurs grandes villes dont Porto. La piscine est de taille parfaite que ce soit pour les petits nageurs ou les plongeurs. Les proprietaires sont gentils et souriants. A votre service en restant discrets. Un enorme merci pour ce séjour inoubliable. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir.

Muy bien

Nos gustó muchísimo, la casa muy amplia y confortable, la cancha de tenis y la piscina muy bien, el jardín cuidadísimo y súper agradable, con árboles por todas partes e incluso hamacas (adoro las hamacas!). Tienen una sala con lavadora, tendales, plancha y todo tipo de productos de droguería (detergente, insecticidas, productos de limpieza del hogar...). No le doy 5 estrellas porque eché de menos cosas que, sin ser fundamentales, se agradecen y se ven habitualmente en otras casas, como que en la casa haya sal y jabón de manos o que en la piscina haya ducha. Sí fue un problema el termo, que no daba ni para una persona (y éramos 5!).

Superbe moment passée au sein d'une propriété très calme et très arboré. L'accueil de l'hôte (Daniel) a était de qualité. Il a répondu à chacune de nos demandes et à chaque fois très rapidement. Nous étions en famille et chacun de nous à réellement apprécié le séjour. La piscine est vraiment de taille suffisante pour l'ensemble des vacanciers. Bravo à Daniel pour sa courtoisie et son sens du relationnel, nous y retournerions sans hésitation. Petit bémol pour la table de ping pong mais sans incidence finalement.
