Two bedroom House Marija with an amazing Old Town view

Recently renovated two bedroom house with a beautiful garden full of roses and other flowers and with an amazing view of Old Town of Dubrovnik. It's garden is perfect to enjoy dining outside or enjoying a glass of wine and reading your favorite book!

Old Town with a number of great restaurants, museums, places to visit, as well as 2 very nice beaches (beach Banje and Sulic) are all within 10 minutes walk.

House Marija consists of 2 bedrooms - one double bedroom and other that can either be set as double, or as a twin bedroom (please let us know your wished how to set it before arriving), living area, kitchen, dining area, bathroom, terraces with a big stone table and gorgeous garden with another table and two sun loungers.

The property was beautiful. Grape vine trellis's covered much of the area with dappled shade. The view was astonishing, directly over Old Town. The setting was so nice, we actually spent one whole day at the VRBO just taking it all in. Two well stocked markets and a great restaurant; TaTa's was a short walk away. The apartment itself is very tidy, with a unique layout, which we loved.

Fabulous adventure

Lovely views, spacious apartment, loved the historic details plus the updated bedrooms and bath. So long as you are in shape for the stairs highly recommend this apartment!

Amazing experience

My teenagers and I stayed at House Marija for a few days and explored Dubrovnik. The house is set in a great location. It boasts stunning views and is a 5 minute walk into the town but at the same time is very peaceful. My teenagers felt very at home! The owners go above and beyond to help you throughout your stay. Wonderful memories made that will stay with us forever, thank you.

Great location

I recently stayed at this quaint home offers amazing views, and thoroughly enjoyed my time there. It had all the basics I needed for a comfortable stay. The location was excellent—just a short walk to Old Town, ferries, and hiking trails. The host was incredibly responsive and helpful, making the entire experience even better. Peace and quiet a short climb from Dubrovnik Old Town

This property is just one street down from a main road coming into Dubrovnik but you wouldn't know it. It was so peaceful, with a fantastic view from the terrace. Everything was as described and I don't think I've ever seen such a spotless bathroom in a rental property. Beds were comfy, and the hosts Maro/Vesna could not have been more helpful. They organised airport transfers and gave very clear instructions on how to access the property. One thing to note - To get to, and back from, the old town there are tons of steps so not for the faint of heart. But, the peace you get on the terrace is more than worth the climb!

Stunning views

The property is high above the old city- stairs are aplenty but manageable. The terrace is lovely and comfortable. We found everything you might need available in the kitchen and the apartment is comfortable.

Croatia in September

This is a wonderful property from which to explore Dubrovnik! The view from the bedrooms and from the garden is beyond compare, and the garden is ideal to sit and have a cup of coffee each morning. Vesna was a wonderful host and so easy to work with. We hope to rent this property again on our next trip!

A Wonderful Pied a Terre

We had a wonderful stay House Marija. The house was very clean and the views are gorgeous. We loved the outside sitting area. Yes, there are A LOT of stairs getting to and from Old Town, but that is to be expected and we welcomed the exercise. All and all, it was a lovely place.

Great views of Old Town from this apartment!

We were only there for two nights, but the apartment would be ideal for longer. 10 minute walk to Old Town. Long hike up many stairs to get back. Definitely best for people in good physical, cardiovascular condition. The host was very communitive and helpful,

Wonderful place!

We loved our stay at this accommodation. Everything we needed and more! Yes you will need to walk up and down many stairs to get to old town but it was doable! We never met our host but she was always available for any questions we had. The outdoor area and views were lovely. Beds were comfortable. Highly recommend

Great property with view

A great property with the probably the best view of Dubrovnik. The own use gardens with an area for dining and relaxing under a grape vine are the best place to chill out. The house is comfortable and has everything you need. Vesna is most helpful too. Just be aware there are a few steps up from the old town so you need to have some level of fitness to walk back.

Wonderful apartment to enjoy Dubrovnik

This property had the most wonderful view of Dubrovnik! But of course, that means that it is above the town and requires a lotbof steps to reach it after being in town. There are Ubers and a bus but we usually walked. The apartment itself was clean, comfortable and spacious and had everything we needed for a 5 night stay. Too bad we had some rain which slowed down our clothes drying which would have been a cinch if we could have left them outside. Overall, great stay and you can’t beat that view!

phenomenal!

We rented this incredible place for five weeks -- as other reviewers have commented, the view is extraordinary. We were thrilled when the door from the alleyway opened to this little piece of paradise. Though the pictures are nice, it really doesn't do it justice. The rental was spacious and exceptionally clean, with fresh linens arriving each week. It is by far our most favorite rental through VRBO. I must, however, touch upon the hosts, Maro and Vesna (also Diana) who were extraordinary and went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. I fractured my foot first day there and they took me to the ER and was my Croatian liaison getting through the medical system there -- all with a smile. We were truly humbled by their generosity and willingness to help us in whatever questions/help we needed during our stay. We highly recommend -- and look forward to returning to this lovely rental AND to the hosts, who I dare say we consider friends now!

Great location, host was nice and friendly. Highly recommend this for those that want space and to be close to old town. Great to have your own kitchen and the view was fantastic. Visited by a few local cats. For US travelers air conditioning doesn't exactly cool the entire space but bedrooms are nice and very comfortable.

Great stay

To be honest, the stairs back-and-forth to old town took a toll on us for four days. We did use Uber at times to get back up the hill which was only 12. But the host, the place, and the views are spot on from the listing. No surprises there. We had a great time in Dubrovnik and the area is beautiful.
