About this property

Star Apartment Ipswich

Well hidden from the road but very close to all amenities. This is a beautifully converted apartment. Very warm, cosy, quiet apartment close to the waterfront. Owner has taken good care for detail when decorating this home from home.

The modern name: Ipswich, derived from the medieval name Gippeswic, is a historic county town in Suffolk, England, located in East Anglia about 66 miles (106 km) north east of London. It is a non-metropolitan district, a large settlement rather, despite of its town status.
The town is split into various quarters, with central with its town square and retail shopping and the waterfront getting the most attention from visitors.

The waterfront used to be an industrial port and served as the most important dock in the United Kingdom, but the area has since been transformed into a trendy and picturesque setting housing in the town's marina and various high-rise apartment buildings.
Ipswich has become a tourist hotspot in the UK with 3.5 million people visiting in 2016.

Places worth visiting:
Christchurch Park, (IP4 2BX), a 70-acre area of lawns, wooded areas, and arboreta in central Ipswich, containing Christchurch Mansion which holds a public museum and art gallery.
