Glamp in our beautiful North Idaho Yurt

Escape to Elysium Woods - our beautiful 14-acre forested property outside Sandpoint, ID. The 24-ft. diameter Yurt sits alongside Rapid Lightning Creek and beckons with a Cal King bed with luxury linens, a wood burning stove for heat and ambiance, a kitchenette with refrigerator and everything needed to prepare your own meals. Just steps away, the heated Shower Shack has hot and cold running water and a vanity with electricity for your hair dryer. Next to the Shower Shack is a sparkling clean Porta Potty.

Enjoy hiking, fishing, birding, ​and nature walks. Water sports and outdoor activities abound in nearby Sandpoint and beautiful Schweitzer Mountain, or just kick back and enjoy the serenity and quiet of Elysium Woods.

We enjoy hosting, and introducing our guests to this beautiful area and to Sandpoint. Our greatest joy is when they report having experienced such a serene and refreshing time at Elysium Woods.

Most yurts are in groups with several others, but ours sits alone in a totally private meadow alongside a babbling brook.

What makes this property unique

The private setting with the creek just 30 ft. away is amazing. The "talking crik" makes for the best night's sleep!
