Full equipped guesthouse, evening sun, cities & beaches close

Nice cozy guest house with double doors to a terrace with lots of evening sun, all equipped, in a rural area, close to water sport facilities (Kaag eiland). Highway access 2 minutes away, free parking, close to Amsterdam, Leiden, Haarlem (30 min) and beaches in Katwijk and Noordwijk (20 min). Ideal position for cycling routes to the green hart and the coast. With option to use the sauna for a small fee.

The guest house is located in a small rural town, in the middle of tulip fields (n the season), close to the Keukenhof, Schiphol Airport and Kaag Eiland ( for water sports). Our street connects to the Ringvaart, which is a 60 kilometer canal which surrounds the municipality Haarlemmermeer and is great for cycling and walking. Please be aware the guesthouse is close to the airport, so quite often you can hear plains can fly over.

If you are looking for a party holiday this place is not for you. We live in a quiet area, our neighbors like their peace and we don’t want to disturb them. Due to limited public transport in Abbenes we strongly recommend coming by car. Please be mindful before you book.

There are many free parking spaces on the streat behind the guesthouse.

The high way to Amsterdam, Leiden and several beaches is 2 minutes away.

If you want to use the train you can drive there within 5-8 minutes and park your car for free. From the Nieuw Vennep train station it is 9 minutes to Schiphol Airport and 28 minutes to Amsterdam Central Station. If you go the other way you can travel to Leiden and The Hague.

Weekend get away

This was the perfect place for us to stay over the weekend. Close to the airport but yet out of the city. Although we felt the walkway to our guest house could be tidier we found the patio and guest house to be very clean and tidy. It was a cozy spot! And the owners were very helpful and friendly!

Perfekt fĂŒr Kurztrip Amsterdam

Insgesamt war unser Aufenthalt in der Unterkunft sehr angenehm. Die KĂŒche ist voll ausgestattet, sodass man sich gut selbst versorgen kann. Das Bett ist bequem und das Bad sauber. Wir haben uns wohl gefĂŒhlt und wĂŒrden jederzeit wieder dort ĂŒbernachten.

Das Haus ist sehr versteckt in einem Hintergarten. Sieht auf den ersten Blick sehr verkommen aus. Das Haus selber ist seehr eng fĂŒr 4 Personen. Einer Person muss auf der engen Couch schlafen und die andere Person auf einer ziemlich dĂŒnnen Matratze auf dem Boden. Aber das Haus ist sehr schön eingerichtet obwohl es klein ist. Die Einrichtung ist sehr liebevoll. Die Laage und Umgebung ist richtig gut. Man kommt ĂŒberall schnell hin. Wir hatten einen schönen Aufenthalt.

Die Wohnung liegt in der Mitte zwischen Den Haag und Amsterdam . Mit dem Zug beides sehr gut erreichbar da ca 5 min mit dem Auto ein Bahnhof mit P&R Parkplatz liegt . Etwas störend ist das die Wohnung in der Einflugschneisen des nahen Flughafens liegt . Was fĂŒr uns aber nicht so schlimm war da wir

Tolle Ferienwohnung

Eine sehr schöne, top ausgestattetet und saubere Ferienwohnung. Lage war fĂŒr uns super. Einziger Manko, hier können aber die EigentĂŒmer nichts fĂŒr, große Baustelle vor der Wohnung und somit leicht problematische Parksituation. Einflugschneise zum Flughafen hat uns nicht gestört. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Mini-Strandhaus in der NĂ€he von Katwijl, Nordweijk und Amsterdam

Das HĂ€uschen ist sehr niedlich, aber eigentlich nur fĂŒr 2 Personen geeignet. Wir waren zu dritt, dann ist es etwas sehr eng, liegt in einem Hinterhof und in der unmittelbaren Umgebung gibt es nichts. BĂ€cker etc. sind weiter weg. Ein Restaurant Lowjes ist 2,4 Kilomter entfernt, das ist allerdings fantastisch und lohnt sich. In der Summe haben wir uns wohl gefĂŒhlt.

Schöne Bleibe mit kleinem Manko

Alles war sehr schön und sehr sauber, die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich. Die Ausstattung ist hervorragend, es gab auch Kaffeekapseln, GewĂŒrze etc.- alles nicht selbstverstĂ€ndlich. GrĂ¶ĂŸerer Wermutstropfen waren die im Minutentakt startenden/ landenden Flugzeuge, die hier nicht besonders hoch fliegen und daher doch ziemlich störend sind, wenn man draußen sitzt.

Eine tolle kleine Unterkunft

Die Beschreibung des Objekts trifft sehr genau zu. Der CheckIn Vorgang war auch Dank SchlĂŒsselbox total einfach. Bei der Unterkunft handelt es sich um eine vollstĂ€ndig ausgebaute Gartenlaube auf dem GrundstĂŒck der Vermieter mit allem drum und dran. Nagelneues Bad, Klimaanlage, sehr stilvoll und zweckmĂ€ĂŸig eingerichtet. Ein Wohn-Esszimmer mit KĂŒchenzeile, ein Badezimmer und ein Schlafzimmer. Richtig schön. Das Vermieter Ehepaar haben wir auch angetroffen und uns Tipps geholt. In englischer Sprache ĂŒberhaupt kein Problem. Trotzdem dass sich Abbenes in der Einflugschneiße befindet, ist durch die dicht schließenden Fenster nachts kein FluglĂ€rm wahrzunehmen. Alles in allem sehr zu empfehlen. Idealerweise fĂŒr zwei Personen, mit Kindern im Grundschulalter aber auch noch total okay.

Schickes, kleines FerienhÀuschen mit netten Vermietern

Alles ging sehr einfach, von der Anfahrt bis zur Lockbox, die den SchlĂŒssel enthielt. Es war immer ein Parkplatz frei, egal zu welcher Uhrzeit. Das Ferienhaus hat alles was man braucht, ist modern eingerichtet und sehr sauber. Man ist sowieso den ganzen Tag unterwegs und braucht deshalb nicht so viel Platz. Aber auch wenn man dort ist, ist es gerĂ€umig genug fĂŒr zwei Personen. Das Haus liegt sehr ruhig. Den beschriebenen FluglĂ€rm hört man am ersten oder zweiten Tag vielleicht noch, aber danach nicht mehr. Nachts (ab ca. 23 Uhr) wird nicht geflogen, also ist ruhig schlafen kein Problem. Die Vermieter waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefĂŒhlt! Abbenes ist ein kleines Dorf, das aber innerhalb von 10-15 Min. Fahrt von grĂ¶ĂŸeren Orten mit Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, Fahrradverleih usw. liegt. Wer sich RĂ€der leihen möchte, kann sie sich je nach Anbieter liefern lassen. Zu Fuß erreicht man den nĂ€chsten nur innerhalb ca. einer Stunde. Das Meer ist ca. 20 Min. mit dem Auto entfernt. Wer in die umliegenden GroßstĂ€dte Den Haag, Amsterdam oder Rotterdam fahren möchte, sollte unbedingt die außerhalb liegenden P+R ParkhĂ€user nutzen, wo man fĂŒr einen Spottpreis von nicht mal 10 EUR (2 Personen) parken kann und darĂŒber hinaus noch ein Ticket fĂŒr die öffentlichen Verkehrsmittel (beschrĂ€nkt auf bestimmte Linien) nutzen kann, das im Preis inkludiert ist.

Super sauber, FluglÀrm

Die Wohnung war mit der Beschreibung super zu finden. Der SchlĂŒssel ebenfalls. Die Wohnung war top sauber - alles perfekt gepflegt. Besser geht es nicht!! Wir waren mit 4 Personen dort und die Kinder haben auf der Schlafcouch geschlafen. Durch die GrĂ¶ĂŸe der Wohnung war natĂŒrlich der Platz beschrĂ€nkt. Wir hatten aber StĂ€dtetrips geplant und waren den ganzen Tag unterwegs, daher war es fĂŒr uns ok. Einzigstes Manko - die NĂ€he zum Flughafen und der dadurch andauernde FluglĂ€rm.

Klein aber fein

Dieses kleine Gasthaus ist eine perfekte Unterkunft, wenn man Amsterdam besuchen will und auch gerne ein paar Tage am Strand verbringen möchte. Auch zu viert ist das HĂ€uschen im allgemeinen gut nutzbar. Man muss sich nur im klaren darĂŒber sein, dass zwei Personen dann immer auf dem Schlafsofa schlafen mĂŒssen. Ansonsten zwar alles auf kleinem Raum, aber es ist alles vorhanden, modern und sehr sauber. Die Gastgeber sind auch wirklich sehr freundlich und stehen einem gerne mit Rat und Tat bei allen Anliegen zur Seite. Besonders angenehm fanden wir die Möglichkeit des Check-In/Out ĂŒber den SchlĂŒsseltresor, wodurch wir nicht an zeitliche Absprachen gebunden waren.

Sehr saubere, klein aber liebevoll eingerichtete Wohnung. Schlafsofa ist sehr bequem. Der einziger Nachteil sind die landende (LĂ€rm) Flugzeuge.
