The interiors unfold into sophisticated living spaces and spacious double bedrooms decorated with fine taste and unique art pieces. The interiors open out onto enchanting terraces and Mediterranean gardens with pine and olive trees, oleanders, and other species of flowers surrounding the property. The outdoors features a swimming pool with sun loungers and deck chairs and spacious al fresco settings where to relax and enjoy the panoramic views.

Indoors: Villa Murat gracefully spans two floors, seamlessly connected by a magnificent marble staircase, enhancing its historical charm. The main entrance welcomes you into a spacious living area adorned with exquisite Italian antique furniture and elegant sofas, creating a truly unique atmosphere. To the left of the entrance, an elegantly appointed double bedroom, featuring vaulted ceilings and antique majolica floorings, offers an enchanting retreat with an en-suite bathroom and access to a private terrace boasting breathtaking sea views. To the right, another door leads to a second double bedroom featuring light-filled windows, classic décor, and an en-suite bathroom.

Returning to the main entrance, the marble staircase ascends to the first floor, revealing a classic-style living area adorned with collection pieces and marvelous vaulted ceilings. To the right, a door leads to a studio and an intimate living area with a bathroom equipped with a shower, a convenient service bathroom, and a fully-equipped kitchen with access to the terraces and charming al fresco settings. The first floor further features two elegantly furnished double bedrooms and one double bedroom with two separated beds, all boasting vaulted ceilings, fine decor, and a bathroom with a bathtub. Additionally, a spacious dining area offers stunning views of the Gulf of Naples and opens onto a wonderful terrace appointed with elegant lounging furniture and a dining table for enchanting al fresco dining experiences.
Since June 2023, air conditioning is available in all rooms and living areas.

Outdoors: Villa Murat welcomes you through its main gate entrance, inviting you to explore the terraces that surround the property, thoughtfully furnished for both lounging and dining. These terraces lead to the Mediterranean gardens and other al fresco areas, providing perfect spots to relax and unwind while soaking in the breathtaking views of Capri and the Mediterranean Sea. The garden seamlessly extends to the pool area, furnished with comfortable sun loungers and an expansive lawn where guests can truly unwind and embrace relaxation.

The Neighborhood:
Situated in Massa Lubrense, Villa Murat offers a charming retreat amidst the captivating landscapes of the Sorrentine Peninsula. Guests can explore the nearby town of Massa Lubrense with its local shops, savor culinary delights at charming restaurants and trattorie, and unwind at bars that offer a taste of the area's lively atmosphere. The fishermen's village and harbor are located just 5 kilometers away, while the enchanting Puolo Bay is also within a 6 kilometer distance. Nerano Bay, renowned for its crystal-clear waters and picturesque coastline, is located 8 kilometers away, providing opportunities for swimming and seaside relaxation. The historic town of Sorrento is conveniently situated approximately 9 kilometers away. Additionally, the distance to the picturesque town of Positano is 20 kilometers.

Should you intend to use one of our villas or apartments for any type of commercial use, such as photo shooting or filming, please inform Feeling Italy of this at the time of booking. Such use will be allowed with Feeling Italy's written consent. Events, weddings, wedding receptions, or large gatherings on Feeling Italy's properties without written permission are not allowed unless specified in the description. Services provided by external suppliers, such as private chefs, and catering, among others, are not permitted in Feeling Italy properties. In such cases, you will be asked to pay an extra fee for your event or service.
Any wood ovens available on Feeling Italy's properties can solely be used by the professional pizza chefs provided by Feeling Italy. Please contact Feeling Italy to enquire about the cost and availability of this service on the property of your choice.

ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE

Standard check-in time is between 3 pm and 10 pm. 
In case of flight delays or any unforeseeable inconvenience while traveling, please contact our office or the property contact. Late arrivals are managed for an extra fee. 
Check-out time is 10 am. 
Early check-in and late arrivals are subject to availability and subject to an extra fee.

TOURIST TAX

Some of the Municipalities where Feeling Italy villas are located apply a local tourist tax. The amount of this tourist tax is calculated according to the number of nights of your reservation. It varies depending on location and must be paid directly by guests before arrival, or on arrival.
