Beautiful lock side cottage

Fantastic place to stay absolutely spotless will definitely be back... the host was very helpful and friendly. The area was ideal and interesting lots of things to do or just sit back and watch the canal boats go by. Thank you for a very enjoyable break

Beautiful cottage and location!

This property is exactly what we hoped it would be. Very clean, tidy, clutter-free and fitted out with beautiful furnishings, kitchenware and bedding. The house was spotless. The garden was really lovely, we enjoyed sitting out near the donkey and horse watching the squirrel gather nuts. Being so close to the canal locks was a highlight for all the family. We went over a back holiday weekend but it was not at all disturbing our peace, we really enjoyed watching the barges go through. Great location, Sainsburys is very close and the chip shop at Swindon was excellent.

Beautiful lock keepers cottage

The house and large garden are absolutely fabulous. The immediate surroundings is may not be the picture-perfect equivalent, but its location next to a staircase lock is a definite bonus. We enjoyed our stay a lot and would have liked to stay longer.
