Beautiful Porch House is just 10 minutes walk from R&A Clubhouse and perfectly situated for South Street with coffee shops, restaurants and bars. East Sands beach is 10 minute walk as is West Sands beach.
There are 3 large double bedrooms with double beds in two of them and a double or 2 singles in 3rd bedroom if required. The front green gets lovely sunshine during the day or for evening drinks.

Beautiful home at the perfect location for a stay in St. Andrews. Close to the center of town - just a quick 5 minute walk - but still secluded enough to enjoy quiet evenings!Angus was a great host, responsive and helpful with anything we needed. I will definitely check his property for availability anytime I am back for a visit.

Ideally located holiday home

Porch House is in a great location - just an easy stroll to the centre of St Andrews, and a slightly longer walk to the beach. The house is comfortable and was ideal for our short break.

The “Perfect” Porch House

Perfectly situated, fantastic stay!

The Porch House was perfect for our stay - ideal location within easy walking distance of everything - golf, university, shopping, restaurants, walking/running trails. We were there to tour a few Scottish universities, so the location was also perfect for our specific needs - a short drive to Dundee, Edinburgh and Aberdeen is a reasonable drive away. Angus was also the best host! Very responsive and incredibly helpful/informative about everything local. The house was exactly as described, I’d add that the beds were super comfortable, which was nice especially after an overseas flight.

Lovely stay in convenient, charming, and well-appointed home

My family spent a week in this lovely home, conveniently located to South Street in St. Andrews. We were there to attend our son's university graduation and so were running back and forth to town, his flat and the university several times a day for a week. The location could not have been better, allowing easy access to what we needed to do, but at the same time being sufficiently off the beaten path to not be disturbed by the exuberant celebrations of the graduating young people. The charming home was extremely well appointed with every necessity and communication with the owner, Angus, was easy, regular and clear. I highly recommend Porch House to others visiting St. Andrews.

St Andrews trip

Fantastic 4 nights in St Andrews. Property is in a great location and is in easy walking distance of all the sights (directions from Angus for short cut to South Street were excellent and it was a lovely short walk). Property clean and comfortable with fantastic shower.

Another great find in St Andrews

Hard to believe we found this lovely accommodation at the last minute, ideal for us. Located close to town centre, less than 10 min walk, and property kept to high standard, bedrooms and bathroom in particular. Many thanks Angus for answering any query so promptly and the nice arrival touches.....will certainly be back.
