Description of the apartment:
Dated of seventeen century the apartment has been fully renovated with taste and passion. Once inside it you don't hear any noise from outside, a true relaxing gem.
The apartment is located on the 1st & 2 sd floors of your own building with a few stairs to climb. You enter your apartment from a servitude at the groundfloor.
The apartment itself is spread on 2 levels: On the first level, you will find a 1st bedroom with a queen-sized bed, a second bedroom with 2 single beds, a separate bathroom with 2 sinks, a stand alone shower and a bath. There is a separate toilet
Up the stairs on the second level, you will find one open space with the living room, sofa bed for 2 people, dining place, bar and fully equipped kitchen. The kitchen has a fridge, a hob, an oven, a steamer, a kettle, a freezer, drip and caps coffee machines, and a microwave. The apartment is a perfect place to relax and offers a television, stereo with CD, MP3, Bluetooth and internet access. All floors are made of massive oak. The stairs are original (XVII century) and are quite steep, not recommanded for person with reduced mobility.

We stayed here the week after Christmas as a family of five, including three teenagers. You're paying for the location and the room on the top floor, they are both amazing. The stairs are steep and not for everyone, but the place was great and well suited for our needs.
Our apartment In Brussels was great. Clean, comfortable and perfectly located. The host was incredibly accommodating… allowing us to store our luggage after our twelve hour flight.
Restaurant next store was operated by a helpful and friendly owner serving solid low cost food.
Great location. It’s close to the main square and many of the sites. The place is spacious and comfortable beds. The stairs are a bit tricky but manageable.
The host was responsive and addressed any concerns or questions.

The place was very clean, was spacious for 4 adults and near to everything we wanted to visit. Overall it was an enjoyable stay and if ever we return to Brussels we would not hesitate to rebook. In addition, the property manager was very prompt in providing information and the information provided was accurate.
The apartment is spacious and the bed was comfy. Check-in instructions were farily clear. Be advised there are steep staircases in the apartment, so it's a bit difficult with luggage. The bathroom and shower are separate. Bring your own washclothes, if you use them. The kitchen was well outfitted. Great neighborhood, and while the crowds outside can be rowdy at night, you don't hear them from the apartment because its in the back of the building.

This place is located right the middle of Brussels but yet you can still get to it by car. It was so convenient to stay there, we could reach everything by foot. A great place to be, we loved the long beds and linen - for us tall people we usually struggle! The place is very cosy and the separation between living area (top floor) and bed&bath rooms was well designed. We didn't mind the steep steps but I can see that for some it could be difficult to get up/down. Overall a great place, everything is functional and available, the owner is very responsive, the check-in was easy and well described. We'd go back if we were to go to Brussels again!
The location of the apartment is great, a short walk to just about all of the sights in Brussels. The facility was clean enough, the beds were comfortable. The kitchen is a hodgepodge of items, with things like cutlery functional but cheap - the sharp knives were all extremely thin and tended to bend when we tried to use them. The coffee maker took 45 minutes to make a pot of rather poor coffee. The microwave, toaster and refrigerator worked well.The stairs are indeed steep and narrow, both the width and depth (on 6" deep).The heating was borderline, it took a long time to warm the upper level with the sitting room. Bedroom doors needed to remain closed to retain heat.Self check in information was a bit unclear, once we found everything it became clear.

Great Location; Neglected Property
Truly wonderful location. Lots of nightlife, restaurants, etc. all around without being in the immediate touristy center.
But, a few comments about the apartment:
- insufficient toilet paper
- not well cleaned
- furniture is sparse and worn out
- two staircases are very steep (not good for little kids or the elderly)
- decorations on the wall were minimal and sad
Essentially, with some sprucing up, this would be a very nice place. It was all just a bit tired.
The top floor room is truly large. If you have a big group, I can see this being a nice gathering spot at the end of the day.
Positiv sind die ruhige und doch zentrale Lage der Wohnung, der ansprechend gestaltete Wohnraum im Dachgeschoss, die Schlafräume die sich auch bei sommerlichen Temperaturen nicht so sehr aufheizen.Machen könnte man was an der Duschkabine, da hier nur heißes Wasser kam.Alles in allem, eine Wohnung in der wir uns wohlgefühlt haben.
La ubicación es inmejorable, muy céntrico, cerca del metro, bares restaurantes...El apartamento es correcto pero con muchos aspectos mejorables. Por ejemplo, la entrada desde la calle es por un pasillo estrecho, dejado, sucio y poco iluminado. En el apartamento, no hay enchufes cerca de las camas, el lavavajillas no funcionaba bien y tocó fregarlo todo a mano, en el cuartito del WC no había dónde colgar la toalla o el rollo de papel y la tapa de WC estaba rota y reparada con un clavo que asomaba.... El espacio del último piso es genial, amplio y agradable.
We were a family of 4 - 2 adults and older teenage children. Fantastic location in an area filled with cafes, shops & restaurants. Incredibly close to everywhere either walking or via public transport.
Accomodation is warm and comfortable and the upstairs living area was perfect.
Highly recommended

Nice location, but this is an old apartment that needs some modernizing.
Entrance is through a dark and musky hallway, which smells a bit of sewage.
The apartment has 2 set of stairs, but of which are narrow and tricky to navigate.
The shower was was a bit weird, it didn’t drain well and backed up while showering.
Overall, an okay stay, but not terribly comfortable.

Excellent emplacement, très beaux volumes mais propreté très relative (cuisine poisseuse, cafetière sale, four et frigo douteux) et salle de bain ainsi que literie non conformes à l'annonce (douche à changer, rongée par le calcaire, portes cassées et rien pr accrocher la douchette - évier salle de bain bouchée - pas de place de parking, pas de lave linge ni de sèche linge contrairement à l'annonce)

Je vous remercie de vos commentaires constructifs qui me permettent d'améliorer les services proposés. Vous avez indiqué lors de votre séjour que vous expérez une qualité hotelière. Je précise que le biens proposés par la plateforme de locations sont des biens de propriétaires, pas des chambres d'hotels. Il me parait peu probable de trouver une suite d'hotel de 120 mcarré à moins de 10 fois le tarif proposé pour ce bien. Néanmoins tous les commentaires que vous m'aviez déjà indiqué lors de votre séjour, ont été considérés avec le plus grand soin, et des modifications ont été apportées pour chacun d'entre eux. Les photos proposées sont authentiques et conformes à ce que le client découvrira dans l'appartement, excepté les plateau avec les croissant et le café posés sur le lit et la table du salion qui sont des éléments décoratifs. Comme je vous l'avais indiqué lors de votre séjour, la machine à laver (marque Miele) et le sécheur (marque AEG) sont dans la buanderie, à droite de la porte d'entrée de l'appartement, et à l'usage exclusif des locataires de cet appartement. La proposition d'un parking privé dans l'immeuble est une erreur de la plateforme locative, que j'ai contacté pour rectifier l'annonce car je n'ai jamais revendiqué de garage dans l'immmeuble même. Il y a un parking privatif payant (22 €/jour) à 100 m de l'immeuble. Bien cordialement.
