The Boot Room was a lovely place to stay. Very warm and cosy with original features kept through out and a private hot tub in the back yard. Beautiful scenery and walks, but would recommend a car if you don’t want to walk more than an hour and a half to get anywhere. Owners were very friendly, thank you.

I had a weekend stay with 3 friends in The Boot Room. Beautiful, cosy cottage with gorgeous view across the lake. Really peaceful and relaxing surroundings, it was exactly what we needed. So much so that we've already booked to go back next year! Definitely recommend if you're looking for a relaxing weekend away.

We stayed here as a family for Christmas 2024 & we absolutely loved it, the boot room itself was beautiful & very well kept. We loved the hot tub & being away from it all in the middle of the countryside. The only downside was the internet which we couldn’t really use due to the connection dropping out & the speed being very slow. There is nothing in the immediate area to walk to, the local pub is over an hour away to walk to. You could drive to the next village in 10 minutes where there was a Tesco etc. This really is a place to come & escape it all. We will definitely be back.
