Beautifully decorated cosy with all mod cons including lovely terrace with seating , bbq and hot tub . Really pleasant and helpful owner Would highly recommend for lovely break in beautiful surroundings
Chose this site as close to villages for genealogy search. Need a car for everything. Local pub no longer open. Cottage is clean and comfortable. Wellies are a good idea for crossing the field if it has been raining. We didn’t use the hot tub but it looked good. Our dog was welcome and had fun in the enclosed space that was very safe for her. Smoke alarm needed a new battery and torch wasn’t working but good lighting outside. Owner very friendly and we appreciated nice bottle of wine and biscuits that were left for us. Not easy place to find as GPS always wants to take off road routes. On the whole it was a very pleasant stay.
Really good time spent at Heath Barn! Lovely views for myself, partner and pup, lovely area with friendly locals. Hot tub was a nice touch and we would recommend stargazing as with little to no light pollution the sky was alive with light 🙂
We stayed here for our honeymoon, it was perfect for us and the dog. Perfect place for some R&R, beautiful surroundings and so peaceful that is made us not want to leave. There are some lovely walks to do around the area.
We will definitely be going back!
