Great stay in Buckroe Beach!

The house was beautiful and big enough to accommodate our group. The proximity to beach and grocery stores was perfect. Beds were comfortable and house was clean.

Close to nice family beach!

Big house, small property, some minor issues that need or needed to be taken care of but over all a nice place. Not enough amenities for a large family, including plates, silverwear, small amount of pots and pans, no dishwasher detergent, no trash bags, no paper towels, no extra toilet paper. When contacted management these things were brought. The mini fridge in the upstairs area did not work. Also due to a previous guest one of the twin mattresses was just flipped over due to a pee stain rather than cleaned or replaced. If you plan on staying over a weekend, be prepared for a close neighbor being very loud until early morning hours with a party. Overall this was a very nice house, the location to the beach was very close and an easy walk. Not far from amenities to food, restaurants and some entertaiment as well.

This could have been a five star rating, however; the outside living areas required cleaning which we did in to enjoy two of the decks.This was a cousins getaway 13 traveled, and the house was large enough to accommodate. This property just needs a little tender, loving care, good cleaning and perhaps a new property manager. Damaged /worn furniture inside and outside and bath linens need to be replaced. Light bulbs were out in 2 b’rooms, it was reported, not replaced during our stay- we were told it would be. We purchased/replaced one bulb in the b’room that had only a lamp. Smoke detector was found on dresser, also reported to host. A complementary bottle of wine in message from the host was not found. Some positive comments regarding this property is the proximity to the beach, a short walk approximately 10 minutes; however, earlier reviews shared restaurants were walking distance, which we did not see, although a restaurant was preparing for a grand opening on Juneteenth. There is a little convenient store and an ice cream shop on the way to the beach. Again, the house is roomy and all the bedrooms are spacious. We were happy ladies to have multiple bathrooms, another plus :-) We hope the next guests find some if not all issues we encountered resolved. Overall we made the best of what we walked into and had a wonderful time together at this property. We all agreed we would stay again.

If you have the opportunity to stay at this property please do so. The host goes above and beyond for their clientele. The pictures are just a glimpse at the totality of this property. Extremely spacious and just feels like home as soon as you enter. You will have no problem entertaining guests. The property was spotless upon arrival. I hope to stay here again in the future.
